Ark Simulator: Don't I Have No Physical Body?
The movement was as swift as lightning, a single touch followed by an instant separation!
"!" Jian felt a cool sensation on her lips, a strange, crisp touch, like a feather brushing against her! She abruptly took a step back, her hand already on the weapon at her waist, her amber vertical pupils blazing with shame and anger! This rude fellow! How dare he...
However, after his "successful" strike (if it could even be considered an attack), Su Rui didn't linger. He didn't even glance at the mace again, nor at SilverAsh. Instead, as if he had just finished an amusing game, he darted through the tiny gap created by the mace's shock and embarrassment, like a slippery eel, and instantly appeared at the open doorway of the office.
"Farewell, Miss 'Goat'." Su Rui's cool voice, tinged with a hint of mockery, drifted into Jian's ears like a whisper. Then, his figure completely disappeared into the darkness of the corridor outside the door, leaving only a faint, refreshing scent lingering in the air.
Jian stood there, her cheeks flushed slightly with shame and indignation, her fingers still resting on her weapon, her chest heaving slightly from the intense emotions surging within her. She stared at the empty doorway, then abruptly turned to look at SilverAsh, her amber vertical pupils filled with incomprehension, anger, and... a hint of absurdity about the mysterious "guest's" strange behavior, a feeling she herself hadn't even noticed.
"Master! He..." Jian's voice was filled with suppressed anger.
SilverAsh slowly raised his hand, signaling her not to say anything more. His gray-blue eyes gazed in the direction where Su Rui had disappeared, and the corners of his mouth curved upwards in an almost imperceptible, extremely subtle, and nearly helpless arc.
It seems that this "mysterious guest" beside Enya is not only exceptionally capable, but also has a rather "unique" personality. At the very least, she's very bold and... knows how to "play" things.
"No need to chase him." SilverAsh withdrew his gaze, looking at the still sulking Mace, his tone regaining its usual calm. "He... meant no harm. At least, not this time."
He paused, then added in a low voice, "Everything about him, including what happened tonight and last night, is confidential. Especially, don't tell Ensia Silverash."
"...Yes, Master." Jian gritted her teeth, but finally bowed and accepted the order. In her heart, however, she had already formed an extremely "deep" impression of the mysterious boy with beast ears, strange skills, and a wicked personality (he even dared to slap her face and call her "goat!"). She remembered his scent, his appearance, his infuriatingly ugly face, and... his frivolous actions!
She'd remembered this! If they met again... A cold, predatory glint flashed in her amber-colored vertical pupils.
Volume 18, Chapter 1156: Waiting for the Snow Leopard to Fall into the Trap
Meanwhile, Su Rui, who had already quietly moved away from the Silverash Manor and was heading towards the Holy Mountain like a true night breeze, seemed to be in a rather good mood. He was recalling the momentary stunned and indignant expression on the red-haired guard's face (SilverAsh called her "Jian"?), and the corners of his mouth curved upwards almost imperceptibly.
Hmm, the fruit wine was good, and the snacks were good too. That SilverAsh was fairly sensible. As for that red-haired "goat" who tried to capture him... his reaction was quite interesting.
Su Rui licked his lips, as if he could still taste the sweet aftertaste of the fruit wine. He quickened his pace, his figure like a silver streak in the moonlight and snow, flying towards the summit of the Holy Mountain, towards that warm "home" where someone was waiting.
I wonder if Enya and Yela have gone back yet? Did they leave him some late-night snacks?
The night was as dark as ink, and the starlight shone exceptionally brightly in the clear, crisp night sky of Kjerag, like scattered diamonds across the continuous snow-capped peaks, outlining the solemn and solitary silhouette of the Holy Mountain Monastery. The wind and snow had long since ceased, and all was silent except for the howling mountain wind, carrying icy shards, which, like tireless sentinels, swirled and sobbed outside the ancient stone walls of the monastery.
A shadow, darker and swifter than the night, like smoke blending into the background, silently swept across the last ridge covered with thick ice, landing lightly in front of the secluded side door in the monastery's backyard, almost one with the stone wall. Su Rui (Snow Leopard version) stopped, listened intently for a moment, and, confirming there was no unusual movement, reached out and gently pressed her fingertips on a very concealed protrusion on the door panel.
With a soft, almost imperceptible click, like ice shattering, the heavy, frost-covered wooden door slid open slightly, just enough for one person to pass through. Inside, the warm, dry air, mingled with the calming scent of incense and the faint aroma of food, instantly dispelled the last trace of the biting chill Su Rui had carried from the foot of the mountain, like a gentle embrace.
He slipped inside, gently closing and locking the door behind him. The movements were fluid and silent. The monastery was dimly lit, save for a few lamps burning faintly and steadily in a niche at the end of the corridor, casting long, swaying shadows on the polished stone floor.
Good, it seems they're all asleep. Su Rui breathed a slight sigh of relief. He pulled down the hood that almost covered most of his face, his silver hair shimmering in the dim light. Although he carried a trace of the dust of the mountains (and a hint of... sweet fruit wine?), he was confident that with his stealth skills and familiarity with the area, he could slip back to Enya's bedchamber unnoticed, pretending he had just gone for a walk.
He moved with the lightness of a true feline, along the familiar, thickly carpeted corridor toward the bedchamber. From the rooms on either side of the corridor came the even breathing of guards and maids, who were clearly fast asleep. All was well.
Soon, he arrived at the familiar, heavy wooden door of the bedchamber, carved with intricate snowflake patterns. No light shone from under the crack. Enya was probably asleep too? Or... was she still waiting for him?
Su Rui's heartbeat quickened almost imperceptibly. He reached out, his fingertips resting on the cold doorknob, about to turn it—
The instant his fingers touched the doorknob, a sudden change occurred!
The door to the sleeping quarters wasn't locked from the outside! And it seemed... it wasn't closed properly?!
Just as alarm bells rang in Su Rui's mind, before she could react, the heavy wooden door was suddenly and forcefully pulled open from the inside, wide enough for one person to pass through! The speed was beyond imagination! The force was also extraordinary! The wind it generated even blew the hair on Su Rui's forehead!
Immediately afterwards, a figure carrying a warm, fragrant, and familiar aura, like a female leopard that had been waiting for its prey, pounced out of the door with a gust of scent! The target was clear—it was Su Rui, who was standing at the door, just letting her guard down and caught off guard!
It's Enya!
She clearly wasn't asleep! And it seems... she'd been waiting behind the door?! Waiting for him to come back?!
Before Su Rui could even see her expression clearly, he only felt a blur before his eyes, and a gentle yet irresistible force slammed solidly into his chest! He hadn't been standing very steadily to begin with, and this sudden "attack" from the most unexpected direction caused him to lose his balance instantly. With a gasp (which he forcibly suppressed in his throat), he staggered back two steps, and then... "thump," he fell backward onto the soft, thick wool carpet at the entrance of the bedchamber!
The moment he fell, Su Rui instinctively curled up to protect his vitals, his tail quickly whipping up to cushion some of the impact, so he didn't feel any pain. But the awkwardness and suddenness of the fall made his face flush instantly! Especially when he saw who had tackled him—
Enya! She actually... ambushed him?!
Enya seemed surprised by the force of her lunge, which knocked Su Rui to the ground. She fell down as well, but fortunately, Su Rui's body acted as a cushion, so she wasn't hurt. She just landed squarely on top of Su Rui!
She wore a soft, flowing silk nightgown, her long, silvery-white hair slightly disheveled from her earlier movements, a few strands even brushing against Su Rui's cheek, causing a slight tickle. She looked up, her lake-blue eyes shining brightly in the dim light, devoid of any sleepiness, only a mixture of... worry, annoyance, grievance, and... the cunning and triumphant smirk of someone who had finally "caught" him!
"Got you!" Enya's voice was slightly breathless, but more so it was a relieved and reproachful tone, as if she had finally waited for him. She placed her hands on either side of Su Rui's body, slightly propping herself up, and stared down at Su Rui, who was pinned beneath her, her face full of astonishment and embarrassment.
Their position at this moment was extremely ambiguous. Enya was almost lying on top of Su Rui, their soft bodies pressed tightly together. Through the thin fabric, Su Rui could clearly feel the curves of her body, her warm temperature, and... her heartbeat, which was slightly accelerated with excitement. Her cheek was very close to his, close enough that he could see her long, thick eyelashes and her watery, lake-blue eyes, reflecting the dim light and filled with complex emotions.
A fragrance, unique to Enya and delicately sweet, mingled with... a faint, almost imperceptible scent of Yamashita sweet fruit wine, seemingly emanating from herself, lingered between them.
Volume 18, Chapter 1157: Have you been drinking?
Su Rui's brain went blank for a few seconds from this sudden, overly "intimate" "attack" and position! He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, like "What are you doing?!" or "Let me go!", but the words caught in his throat because of the overwhelming shame and confusion, and... the reassuring scent of Enya lingering around his nose. His cheeks visibly heated up, becoming burning hot! Even the tips of his ears turned red!
"You..." Su Rui finally managed to utter only one word, her voice dry with embarrassment.
However, Enya didn't seem to have any intention of getting off him immediately. Her gaze remained fixed on Sulei, her nostrils flaring slightly, like the most sensitive little animal carefully sniffing his neck and hair.
Su Rui's body stiffened instantly! A sense of foreboding washed over him! Alcohol! The scent of the sweet fruit wine he drank at SilverAsh's still lingered on him! Although it was very weak, and the wine had almost no alcohol content, Enya's sense of smell and her familiarity with him...
Sure enough, after sniffing a few times, Enya's lake-blue eyes narrowed slightly. The cunning and smugness in her eyes were quickly replaced by a mixture of surprise, disapproval, and... a hint of "I knew it" understanding. Her brows furrowed almost imperceptibly.
"... You've been drinking?" Enya's voice deepened, no longer carrying the sweet, reproachful tone of before, but instead a serious undertone befitting a "guardian." Although that seriousness, given their intimate posture and the lingering worry in her eyes, seemed somewhat... subtle.
Su Rui's heart skipped a beat! He instinctively wanted to deny it, but the words caught in his throat as he realized it was pointless. The fruit wine tasted faint, but it was definitely there. Besides... why should he deny it? He'd only drunk a little bit of sweet fruit wine with almost no alcohol content! It wasn't some strong liquor!
"...Just a little." Su Rui turned her face away, avoiding Enya's all-seeing eyes, and squeezed out a few words, her tone a mix of awkwardness and nonchalance, as if she'd been caught red-handed, "...a fruit wine with very little alcohol."
"Fruit wine is still wine!" Enya's tone became more forceful, clearly showing her disapproval. She reached out, no longer content with just pressing down on Su Rui, but... very "smoothly" pinched Su Rui's fluffy snow leopard ears, which were trembling slightly from embarrassment and nervousness! She began to gently knead them, as if "teaching" him a lesson, with a hint of punishment! The force was a little stronger than usual, carrying a "let's see if you dare to sneak a drink again" implication.
"You're still young! Your body hasn't fully recovered! How can you drink so much?!" Enya pinched Su Rui's sensitive ear while staring at him with her lake-blue eyes, filled with disapproval and worry. Her tone was one of earnest reproach. "What if you ruin your health? What if... what if you get drunk and encounter danger outside? Do you know how worried we are about you!"
Su Rui: "!!!"
The stronger-than-usual kneading pressure on his ear, mixed with Enya's reproachful tone filled with "maternal" care, made Su Rui's shame explode instantly! He wasn't a child anymore! What was wrong with drinking a little fruit wine?! Besides, he wasn't drunk at all! He was perfectly capable, what danger could he possibly be in?! This Enya was simply... simply incomprehensible!
"I'm not drunk! I'm not a child! Let me go!" Su Rui was both ashamed and angry, and began to struggle, trying to push Enya off him. But Enya seemed to have found strength from somewhere, pressing him down tightly and refusing to let go, her "punishment" showing no sign of stopping.
"You still say you're not a child! Sneaking out and drinking!" Enya clearly wasn't going to let him off easily. She pinched his ear and even lightly tugged at the tip of his ear. "Will you dare do it again next time?! Hmm?"
"You...!" Su Rui trembled with rage, his cheeks flushed crimson! He felt his dignity as an "Executor" (though barely intact) had been severely challenged and trampled upon! To be pinned down by a woman (and a seemingly gentle and easily bullied saintess at that) and "disciplined" while having his ear pinched was an utter disgrace!
However, just as he was preparing to break free with even greater force, or perhaps even resort to some "extraordinary means," a clear and calm voice, carrying a barely audible, faint smile, drifted from the shadows of the bedchamber:
"Looks like they got a little carried away with the fun."
It's Yela!
Su Rui and Enya both froze! Su Rui abruptly turned her head towards the source of the sound! There she saw, Yela, who had silently emerged from the shadows of the inner chamber. She was still dressed in her impeccably tailored maid's outfit, her black hair perfectly styled, her face expressionless. But in the dim light, her deep black eyes gleamed with a... extremely rare, almost "spectator-like" smile, tinged with a hint of amusement and... indulgence?
She walked slowly to the two of them, looking down at them as they lay "stacked" on the carpet. Her gaze first fell on Enya's slightly flushed and sweaty cheeks, which were damp with sweat from "disciplining" Su Rui, a barely perceptible tenderness flashing in her eyes; then, it slowly moved to Su Rui, who was pinned beneath her, her face flushed with shame and indignation, her ears red, struggling in vain, the interest in her dark eyes seeming to intensify.
"Your Holiness, the ground is cold." Yela spoke calmly, her tone devoid of emotion, but her words made Su Rui's heart sink again.
Sure enough, Enya seemed to realize that the two were still in this awkward position when she heard this. A hint of unease flashed across her face, but her hands didn't stop. She just loosened her grip slightly, but still pinched Su Rui's ear, and turned to Yela, saying, "Yela, look at him! He's secretly drinking!"
The tone was three parts reproach, three parts worry, and four parts... like a child complaining to their parents, someone who had been wronged?
Su Rui: "..." He felt like he was suffocating!
Yela's gaze fell on Su Rui's chest, which heaved slightly from struggling and feeling ashamed, and... the suspicious blush that hadn't yet faded from his face. She seemed to catch a faint, sweet scent of fruit wine as well. Her dark eyes narrowed slightly.
Then, to Su Rui's astonishment (and a hint of unease), Yela slowly knelt down beside Su Rui and Enya.
Volume 18, Chapter 1158: Catching the Big Tail
She didn't speak, but simply stretched out her hand, which was slightly cool to the touch and had distinct knuckles, and very naturally and purposefully... grabbed Su Rui's big, fluffy tail, which was tightly curled up at her side and slightly ruffled due to tension and struggle!
"!!!" Su Rui's body trembled violently! The tail is a more sensitive part than the ears! Grabbed by Yela's sudden attack, a strong current, mixed with numbness and strange sensations, instantly surged through his body! His struggling movements froze instantly, and a short, suppressed groan escaped his throat!
"Looks like I need to teach him a lesson." Yela's voice remained calm and even slightly cold, but Su Rui detected a distinct... unmistakable sense of settling scores with him! Her hands began to knead and comb Su Rui's tail with an almost "professional" yet undeniably forceful touch! Starting from the base of the tail, she pressed and rubbed inch by inch downwards! Her pressure was precise, targeting the most sore and sensitive acupoints on Su Rui's tail!
"Ugh...!" Su Rui was caught off guard by this "double attack"! Enya pinched her ears as a "punishment," Yela grabbed her tail as a "massage" (or punishment?), and Enya pressed her down so she couldn't move. All around her were the unsettling scent and warmth of the woman's body...
A tremendous sense of shame, helplessness, and... an extremely unfamiliar yet irresistible stimulation emanating from the most sensitive parts of his body, a mixture of soreness and strange comfort, surged through Su Rui's brain and nerves like waves! His cheeks flushed red, his ears burned even more intensely, his tail trembled uncontrollably in Yela's hand, and he made intermittent, indistinct gurgling sounds from his throat, like sobs and protests.
"Let... let go... um... don't... don't pinch anymore... ah..." Su Rui's voice was trembling with sobs, and his struggles grew weaker and weaker until they were almost nothing more than feeble thrashing and slight wriggling. It wasn't that he lacked the strength to break free, but under this all-encompassing, "gentle" "suppression" and "punishment" from the two people he was most vulnerable to, he felt all his will to resist crumbling little by little under that familiar and reassuring scent, and that increasingly pleasurable massage coming from his ears and tail.
"Will you dare to sneak out for drinks alone again next time?" Enya looked at Su Rui's embarrassed and angry expression, yet her eyes were starting to become hazy and watery because of comfort (?), and her anger subsided considerably. However, she still kept a straight face and lightly flicked Su Rui's nose with her finger, her tone threatening.
"...No...I won't dare again..." Su Rui almost unconsciously and indistinctly squeezed out a few words from his throat. He just wanted this terrible, shameful, yet inexplicably...somewhat comfortable "torture" to end as soon as possible!
"Remember, your body doesn't just belong to you." Yela's voice rang in Su Rui's ears, cold and deep, carrying a strange, undeniable meaning. "Take good care of it."
Her hand pressed lightly with her knuckles at the base of Su Rui's tail.
"Ugh--!" Su Rui's body arched suddenly, letting out a short, tearful gasp, tears (purely physiological) almost streaming down his face! But then, an even stronger, indescribable tingling and relaxing sensation, like an electric current running through his spinal cord, spread from that point, making his limbs weak and almost collapsing onto the carpet.
Enya and Yela exchanged a glance, both seeing a knowing smile in each other's eyes, a smile that suggested the "education" was beginning to bear fruit (although Yela's smile remained extremely subtle).
Enya finally released her grip on Su Rui's ear and gently stroked the top of his head instead. Yela also lightened the pressure of her kneading of his tail, instead gently combing it with a soothing touch.
Su Rui, like a large, fluffy cat that had been completely tamed, lay limp on the carpet, panting heavily. Her cheeks and ears were still flushed, her dark eyes were misty, and her gaze was somewhat unfocused. Her bushy tail hung limply in Yela's hand, the tip of which trembled unconsciously and slightly.
"It's good that you know you were wrong." Enya's voice softened again. She leaned down and gently kissed Su Rui's smooth, flushed forehead. "You can't do that again, okay?"
Su Rui gave a weak "hmm," too exhausted to even argue.
Yela released her grip, stood up, and looked at the limp boy on the ground with her cold gaze, which held a hint of barely perceptible gentleness. She said calmly, "The ground is cold. Go back to bed and rest."
Enya then got up from Su Rui and reached out to pull him up from the ground. Su Rui's steps were a little unsteady, and Enya half-supported and half-carried him back to the warm and soft bed.
Enya carefully covered him with the blanket and gently rubbed his still slightly feverish ears. Yela silently brought over a cup of honey water at the perfect temperature, which was supposed to help with hangovers and calm the nerves, and held it to Su Rui's lips.
Su Rui took small sips from Yela's hand, the warm, sweet liquid sliding down his throat, relieving his body's heat and fatigue. He closed his eyes, feeling the silent yet omnipresent care from the two people beside him, and... that inescapable "sweet burden."
Oh well... let them be. Anyway... resistance is futile. And... it doesn't seem so unacceptable? At least, the honey water tastes pretty good.
With this self-destructive thought, and a strange sense of relaxation and comfort emanating from deep within his body, Su Rui slowly drifted off to sleep under Enya's gentle caresses and Yela's quiet protection. Even in his sleep, his tail would still unconsciously curl up slightly, as if searching for something to lean on.
Enya and Yela sat by the bed, looking at Su Rui's peaceful sleeping face, and smiled at each other. A "minor disturbance" caused by worry was quietly quelled in this way, unique to "family" relationships, carrying both intimacy and a sense of "discipline." And Su Rui's last bit of "rebellion" and "secret" that she tried to keep seemed to have been declared bankrupt once again under this gentle "suppression."
Outside the window, the night deepened. Atop the Holy Mountain, all was quiet. Only within that warm sleeping chamber flowed a unique, sweet, and "domineering" bond called "home."
Volume 18, Chapter 1159: Going out legitimately
The winter sun struggled to penetrate the thin, cold air above Kjerag, painting a pale, almost ethereal golden halo on the Bai Xue -capped Holy Mountain. Inside the monastery, the fireplace was relit at dawn, dispelling the lingering chill of the night and bringing warmth to the new day.
Su Rui (Snow Leopard version) slowly awoke in an extremely warm, soft, and... reinforcing embrace. His consciousness floated up little by little, as if floating in warm water. The first thing he felt was the soft, elastic touch on the back of his head, and the comforting, delicate fragrance of Enya lingering around his nose. His head seemed to be resting on Enya's soft thighs. His waist was loosely encircled by an arm in a possessive but not forceful manner. The other hand was gently stroking the pair of fluffy snow leopard ears on his head, which had drooped completely from his sleep.
It's Enya. She seems to have been awake for a while, or... she didn't sleep much all night? Is she just staying by his side?
Su Rui didn't open his eyes immediately, but moved his head slightly, finding a more comfortable position on Enya's lap, and let out a satisfied, sleepy gurgle. The shame and slight fatigue from last night's "thrilling" (for him) "internal family education" seemed to have mostly dissipated in this peaceful sleep and the tranquility of the morning.
However, what followed was a strange, almost "taking an inch and wanting a mile" thought.
Enya... didn't seem really angry that he sneaked out last night and drank some fruit wine? At least, she still seemed gentle, even... more indulgent and... more cherishing after the initial shock? That "lesson," though it made him incredibly ashamed, seemed more like... an almost instinctive reaction born of worry? And in the end, didn't it... just fizzle out? She even gave him honey water, allowing him to sleep soundly?
So... does that mean that if he occasionally "goes out for a walk," as long as it doesn't involve real danger (like drinking?), Enya can actually... tolerate it? At most, he'll just come back and get a lecture and some "pampering"? Anyway... he's gotten used to it.
This thought, like a vine, quickly took root and sprouted in Su Rui's still slightly groggy and waking mind. Down the mountain... it didn't seem so boring after all? At least, the sweet fruit wine and pastries at SilverAsh's place were quite good. And the reaction of that blonde "big goat sister" (sword) who tried to grab him yesterday was rather interesting. Perhaps... she could go check it out again?
Having made up his mind, Su Rui slowly opened his eyes. His obsidian-like eyes were still misty with the light of waking up. He tilted his head slightly and looked at Enya, who was looking down at him with a gentle smile in her eyes.
"Good morning," Su Rui greeted him in a husky voice, still slightly sleepy.
"Good morning, Su Rui." Enya's smile was as warm as the morning light. She reached out and gently brushed away the slightly messy strands of hair from Su Rui's forehead. "Did you sleep well? Is your head still dizzy?"
"...I'm not dizzy." Su Rui shook her head, then sat up from Enya's lap and stretched. Her dark gray velvet robe was a little wrinkled from sleeping all night, and the neckline was slightly open, revealing her delicate collarbone. Her fluffy tail also unconsciously stretched out behind her, the tip of which gently brushed against the bedding.
"I'm hungry," Su Rui said casually, her gaze subtly drifting towards the entrance of the bedroom. Yela usually prepared breakfast in the early morning.
"Yela has already gone to prepare." Enya seemed to see through his thoughts, smiling as she tapped his nose. "Go wash up first, breakfast will be ready soon."
Su Rui hummed in agreement, got out of bed, and walked barefoot onto the soft carpet toward the bathroom. As she passed the door, she ran into Yela, who was carrying a tray of breakfast.
Yela was still dressed in her impeccable maid outfit, her black hair neatly styled, her expression calm. Upon seeing Su Rui, a barely perceptible softening flickered in her dark eyes, and she nodded slightly. "Good morning, Young Master Su Rui."
"...Good morning." Su Rui mumbled a reply, his gaze sweeping over the tray in Yela's hands—his favorite savory pancakes, fried eggs, and vegetable soup. Hmm, not bad.
After washing up and enjoying the breakfast that Yela had carefully prepared, Su Rui felt much better. He nestled on the soft couch by the fireplace, holding his terminal, seemingly browsing casually, but his mind was actually wandering down the mountain.
Enya sat at her desk and began handling the morning's teaching duties. Yela quietly tidied up the tableware, then stood at a short distance away as usual.
The time was almost right. Su Rui put down the terminal, stood up from the soft couch, and walked to Yela.
Yela's dark eyes looked at him calmly, as if waiting for him to speak.
"...I'm going out for some fresh air." Su Rui's tone was very natural, as if he were just saying, "I'm going out to get some sun." He didn't look at Enya, but the sound of Enya flipping through the files seemed to pause almost imperceptibly.
Yela didn't speak, but simply looked at him quietly, her dark eyes deep, as if she could see through his thoughts. But this time, unlike last night, she didn't show any opposition or warning.
After a moment of silence, Yela took a barely perceptible half-step forward. She reached out and gently straightened Su Rui's slightly crooked collar, her fingertips brushing against the skin of his neck, bringing a slightly cool touch.
