The impact forced her back several steps.
What surprised Maria, however, was that the fiery-haired woman before her did not care about the attack at all. She stood there openly, looking around with curiosity.
"Whoa, such a huge set. If I'd known, I would've brought some cameras. Put this in my movie later, and it'd definitely be a hit!"
She spoke carelessly, seemingly unconcerned by the explosions around her.
Soon afterward, the building affected by the blast waves began to tilt and collapse.
Maria frowned slightly, then decisively stepped forward.
"Huh?"
The other woman seemed somewhat confused, but she did not resist. Maria simply dragged her out of the building's range.
Soon, accompanied by a roar audible throughout all of Lungmen, the old slum building crumbled into dust.
The battle gradually came to a halt in such a strange manner.
"Oh dear, tsk tsk tsk. The more I look at it, the more regrettable it is."
The fiery-haired woman scratched her head, flicked the tail covered in red fur, and turned around.
"Are you okay?"
"..."
Maria did not answer. She merely lowered the brim of her hat and silently watched the woman before her.
The woman had silver hair not much different from Maria's, though hers was tied into a high ponytail, the opposite of Maria's style. Bright red eyeliner framed her purple eyes. Beneath a scarlet tube top, her beautiful, smooth abdomen was completely exposed, while below that, only a pair of simple shorts offered any coverage.
She wore a white coat, and a large bronze shield floated at her side. Her entire appearance seemed to consist of only red and white.
But none of that was what Maria wanted to focus on.
