Background / History

Chen An transmigrated to Terra and encountered Skadi while she was fighting a monster. His strength earned Skadi’s approval, and the two began traveling together despite his preference for avoiding violence and her bounty-hunter lifestyle 1 38.

During his travels, Chen An left Skadi with Talulah once, believing she would be safe with Talulah and her companions. Skadi quickly caught up to him and refused to leave again. A later mission separated the pair, though they eventually resumed living together in Lungmen 1.

Before settling in Lungmen, Chen An played a major but unofficial role in Chernobog. He mediated tensions between Infected residents and ordinary citizens, helped prevent internal conflict, and was respected across Dawn despite declining authority. He later left Chernobog quietly because his heart was not there 3 11.

In Lungmen, Chen An treated residents of the Lower District, supported orphanages, and helped improve relations between Infected and non-Infected communities. His work earned him respect from residents, gangs, the Lungmen Guard Department, and figures such as Wei Yenwu 3 11 25 28.
