the unlucky guy who had been separated to the other side by the mutated Sarkaz earlier.
And now, his knife had been picked up by an unfamiliar Sarkaz girl.
According to Sarkaz custom—
picking up a Sarkaz's knife usually meant becoming that Sarkaz's successor.
"You picked up W's knife?"
The Sarkaz mercenary leader looked at the white-haired, red-eyed Sarkaz girl.
She had actually made it out of that dangerous place?
And without a scratch, no less?
She had to be exceptionally skilled.
He did not think a Sarkaz who looked this sane would believe he was on the same side as those mutated Sarkaz.
"You're that unlucky guy's companion?" the Sarkaz girl asked, holding up the knife.
"Since you picked up W's knife, that means you've become his successor. Now's the time to prove yourself!"
The mutated Sarkaz had gradually gained the upper hand on the battlefield—
mainly because those monsters hit incredibly hard, while their heads were their only weak point.
Because of their bizarre Originium Arts, it was impossible to behead them in a single strike.
Even after their heads had been cut off, two disgusting bugs would crawl out from their bodies and attack.
Those little bugs were fast and had grown sharp claws that could easily slice through the strong flesh of the Sarkaz mercenaries.
"Are you sick in the head?"
W looked at the speaking Sarkaz as though he were insane.
She was on the same side as these mutated Sarkaz.
She would have to be out of her mind to stand with this bunch of Sarkaz who had appeared out of nowhere.
She still had plenty of good years left to live.
She had already found someone to rely on.
From now on, she
