"I really had no choice! I never thought Hengzhou would... treat his uncle like this." The beautiful noblewoman wept pitifully.

"My uncle's surname is Qi, not Cui. What kind of uncle is he to me? You're nothing more than something the old man brought home. What right do you have to speak here?" No sooner had the noblewoman finished speaking than a cold voice came from outside the door.

Fu Hengzhou strode in on his long legs and sat directly opposite Fu Guosheng. Without sparing the woman beside Fu Guosheng a glance, he stared at Fu Guosheng with ink-black eyes for a long while before slowly asking, "What kind of show is this supposed to be?"

"I heard you fired Cui Zhipeng?" Fu Guosheng asked mildly, seemingly unangered by Fu Hengzhou's attitude.

Fu Hengzhou glanced at him and snorted. "A parasite lining his own pockets. Do you think there was any reason to keep him in the company?"

Fu Guosheng's expression changed. He looked at the noblewoman. "What exactly happened?"

"This is clearly a frame-up! You know my younger brother, sir. He has always been honest and dependable since childhood, and he's worked diligently for the company all these years. You've seen his annual performance yourself. How could Xiaobao possibly do something so ungrateful?" The noblewoman explained as she wiped away her tears.

Fu Hengzhou looked at her and suddenly laughed. "So what you mean is that I framed him?"

The noblewoman froze. She had not expected Fu Hengzhou to throw her words back at her, but the expression on her face gradually turned malicious. "I never said that. I was merely explaining the situation."

Fu Guosheng's face darkened. He glanced at Fu Hengzhou but said nothing. A-Cheng, standing behind him, took a large bundle of documents from his briefcase and placed stacks of evidence on Fu Guosheng's desk.

A-Cheng placed the documents beside Fu Guosheng's hand, then returned to his original spot.

A-Cheng said, "These are the things Young Master asked me to investigate regarding what Vice President Cui has done over the years, including all the funds he moved using his position and the two foreign trade companies he established."

Fu Guosheng's expression shifted slightly at those words. He glanced at the materials, then raised his head to look at Fu Hengzhou. "You had someone investigate him?"

Fu Hengzhou snorted. "What did you think? That I'd stay silent like you and let an outsider hollow out the Fu Household?"

Seeing the mockery on Fu Hengzhou's face, Fu Guosheng pushed the documents aside and looked at the noblewoman. "What do you have to say?"

"I..." The noblewoman could no longer pretend to be pitiful for sympathy. Gritting her teeth, she said, "My younger brother is innocent."

Fu Hengzhou raised an eyebrow at her. "Innocent? How do you explain this?" His last question was directed at Fu Guosheng.

Fu Guosheng glanced at her but remained silent.

Seeing this, the noblewoman cried for a while longer before saying, "Old Master, our Cui Household has always..."

"Hengzhou, everything in this matter was done by Cui Zhipeng. It has nothing to do with your stepmother..." Fu Guosheng glanced at the noblewoman, who was weeping pitifully, and a trace of tenderness appeared in his eyes.

"Cui Zhipeng?" Fu Hengzhou's eyes held a hint of mockery. "You really are a man devoted to love. And my mother's surname isn't Cui. Please get that straight. Not just any stray cat or dog can be attached to me."

Fu Guosheng looked at him but said nothing.

"I've already called the Independent Commission Against Corruption. I imagine they'll be sending people over soon." Fu Hengzhou glanced at him, then stood and turned to leave.

"Where are you going?" Fu Guosheng asked with a frown.

"Of course, I'm going to clean up the mess Cui Zhipeng left behind." Fu Hengzhou did not look back. "I'm truly curious what charm this woman has that makes you indulge her again and again, even covering for her after she has done something wrong." With that, he walked straight out of the room. The noblewoman watched his retreating back with hatred in her eyes, yet did not dare stop him.

Fu Guosheng watched Fu Hengzhou disappear from sight before sighing and turning toward Cui Lin, who was sobbing beside him.

"Stop crying," Fu Guosheng comforted her.

"Sir..." The noblewoman raised her head to look at Fu Guosheng. "My younger brother really is innocent."

"Cui Lin, there is nothing wrong with my eyes. The Cui Household has reached too far. You should know that there are plenty of women prettier and more obedient than you." Fu Guosheng stood and headed outside.

Just as Fu Hengzhou stepped out of the Fu Household's front gate, he ran into Fu Hengdong, Cui Lin's son.

"Brother." Fu Hengzhou stopped and called out flatly. "I have something to ask you."

Fu Hengdong nodded. "What do you want to know?"

"I want to know exactly how Uncle offended you. Why are you determined to destroy him? He has given so much to the Fu Household!" Fu Hengdong's face was full of grief, his eyes filled with accusation and hatred toward Fu Guosheng.

"I wasn't determined to destroy him," Fu Hengzhou replied calmly.

"Then tell me what this is all about! Why did you treat him like that? He's your unc—!" Fu Hengdong looked utterly heartbroken.

"Get this straight. He is your uncle, not mine. I may despise all of you, but I would never stoop to underhanded methods. So there's no need for you to put on that act before the old man, as though I had framed someone closest to you." After speaking, Fu Hengzhou glanced at Fu Guosheng, who stood on the second-floor balcony. "Dad, if there's nothing else, I'll be leaving first." With that, he strode away, leaving Fu Hengdong standing there in a daze.

Fu Hengdong glanced at Fu Guosheng on the balcony before slowly walking away.

Fu Hengzhou sat in the car, gazing ahead with a calm expression. No one knew what he was thinking, but his deep eyes looked terrifying.

Assistant A-Cheng did not dare say much and simply stayed quiet. He knew how much pain his boss was in. "By the way, Boss, I heard Mr. Xue will be leaving Hong Kong Island in the next couple of days. Would you like to give him a gift?"

"Help me choose one. Take me to Maria Port. I need to stay there for a while," Fu Hengzhou said indifferently. Then he closed his eyes to rest, while the document he had seen before Fu Guosheng kept resurfacing in his mind.
