The building before them was about as tall as the other merchant guild buildings, roughly five or six stories, but its design was rather unique.
The Silva Magic Energy Merchant Association building was cylindrical in appearance, constructed entirely from bluestone. Its surface was carved with reliefs of demon beasts and mysterious symbols, giving it an air of mystery.
Luo Ning examined it carefully and even spotted the Spell Pattern of the Beginner Magic Clear Wind Spell. He had not expected them to use Spell Patterns as murals.
The building had a golden spire, like a slender golden needle piercing the sky, making it feel incomparably solemn and sacred.
"My lord, I can sense fluctuations of magic."
Elrond looked up. "They seem to be coming from the rooftop platform."
Luo Ning nodded. He seemed to sense something as well, though not as clearly as Elrond did.
"Come on, let's go inside and take a look."
With that, Luo Ning led the two of them inside.
The moment he entered, Luo Ning was stunned by the scene within.
The exterior was constructed from bluestone, but the floors inside were built of wood. A set of stairs hugged the inner wall as it spiraled upward, leading directly to the top of the building.
Standing on the first floor and looking up, Luo Ning could see rows upon rows of bookshelves on every level. The air carried a faint scent of Parchment, along with a subtle fragrance and a gentle breeze.
Magic Crystal Lamps were generally rare, yet they decorated this building everywhere as though they cost nothing.
The enormous chandelier in the center was especially impressive. Its brightness and design were no less magnificent than the finest luxurious lighting fixtures of modern times. Who knew how many gold coins it would take to
