Background

Elrond was summoned by Luo Ning through a complex magic array as the final reward of the Seven-Day Login system. He appeared as a Light Attribute Mage with limited memories of his former life, though he retained knowledge of magical principles and basic Spell Scroll production. Upon meeting Luo Ning, he immediately pledged himself as his master’s follower. 23

Luo Ning raised Elrond from Beginner to Intermediate Mage almost immediately, granting him the Healing Spell and establishing his long-term role as the group’s healer and magical support specialist. Elrond was initially kept secret from outsiders and introduced merely as Luo Ning’s friend. 24

After becoming an Advanced Mage, Elrond recovered a crucial memory: he had served as the Divine Physician of the Blazing Flame Expeditionary Army, alongside Rydal Mein and Macken Saliton. His recovered spell set—healing, shielding, binding, morale support, and purification—matched that former military-medical role. 94

Further breakthroughs restored fragments of a much older past. Elrond recalled the Witch Soul Tribe and its leader, Elliott, as enemies that once threatened humanity, as well as the final battle at Blaze Canyon on the New Moon Continent. 366

Although he is deeply loyal to Luo Ning, Elrond is willing to voice practical concerns. He declined the position of Finance Officer because potion research, herbology, and Spell Scroll production already consumed most of his time; he instead recommended Chahar for the role. 233

He then traveled through the town treating residents while attributing the aid to Luo Ning’s benevolence. 39 40 51

He later handled Transcendent affairs while Luo Ning was away: crafting scrolls, teaching Aileen, assessing surrendered personnel, and responding to Magical Beast attacks near the town’s pastures. 115

Military Support

Elrond served as a battlefield support mage during campaigns against Sain Territory and the Black Collar Tribe. His Invigorate Spell strengthened allied morale during the ambush against Philiton’s forces, while his Healing Spell reduced battlefield casualties. 176 177

While Luo Ning was absent, Elrond acted as Governor of Wubei Territory. He recognized the implications of Rulans’s warning letter, sent David to deliver it to Mist City, and chose to accompany Blanche to Golden Feather Palace. 525
