"Uh one"

Tywin, sitting on the toilet, strained inwardly, even making a hoarse, short sound from his throat. The subtle, unsettling sensation between his buttocks made him very irritated.

The candlestick beside it emitted a bright light; compared to ordinary candles, these candles were not only brighter but also produced no smoke.

The candle makers even added fragrances, giving it a faint osmanthus scent.

Suddenly, the candle used for lighting flickered violently. It turned out that the toilet door had opened. Tywin looked up and was somewhat stunned.

In his more than fifty years of life, no one had ever dared to barge in while he was using the toilet.

The hard, dry sensation that he had managed to produce after much effort receded, which infuriated him.

In a flash, the feeling of irritability and anger quickly dissipated, and he suddenly realized something, seeing the figure standing at the door.

"Adam."

"Tywin."

The two looked at each other. A cold wind blew in, the candlelight flickered erratically, and the bathroom was eerily quiet. Tywin and Adam could almost hear each other's breathing.

Adam slowly reached his hand backward and closed the toilet door, then braced it with his body.

His intention was crystal clear. Tywin glanced at the candle and said, "Adam, child, what do you want?"

""

"You know, Adam pulled a dagger from his boot and slowly approached Tywin."

"How are Damion and Damon?" Tywin asked.

"Sir Damion died in his study, and Sir Damon died in his bed."

"Is that so?" Tywin's voice trembled slightly, but quickly regained its composure. "Why? I think you can answer me, right?"

"Yes, sir, because you want me to lead the heavily armored troops into battle." Adam clicked the door shut.

"Just because of that?" Tywin sneered. "Did that bastard scare you out of your wits?"

"Just?" Adam shook his head. "Jon is indeed terrifying. He defeated you on the the Green Fork, and he personally killed Gregor. Yet even so, Gregor's brother Sandor is willing to serve him, and he also knows witchcraft." My lord, what chance do we have against such a man?

Tywin sighed, but you could tell he was actually very tense.

"Listen, child, this is not witchcraft. I've seen Wildfire used to startle rain before in King's Landing, but I didn't think of it then. That day at the the Green Fork, it was because he started the the Green Fork's flow. He killed the Mountain only because the news leaked out. As for Sandor— " Tywin was indeed puzzled as to why Sandor would be loyal to Jon. As a high-ranking duke, how could he have time to care about such a lowly person?

"Alright, Lord Tywin," Adam interrupted him, "Just hand over your head to me, and I'll plead with Lord Jon to spare the Lannister from extermination."

Tywin looked at the young man before him, Hishan, the bastard son he had personally legitimized. Suddenly, he felt an overwhelming sense of absurdity; he had fallen to this state entirely because of his bastard son.

It started with Joffrey, then Jon, and finally Adam.

He clearly hated bastards more than anything in his life, even the king's bastards. Robert slept with a woman in Casterly Rock, and that woman actually gave birth to twins.

Tywin still remembered what the two children looked like; their charcoal-black hair was like two glaring ink spots.

He ordered the twins to be thrown to their deaths, and their mother was sold off.

However, the old duke did not give up or accept his fate. He looked at Adam calmly, leaning back slightly.

"Are you here to take my life, or to capture me alive and offer me to that bastard like you?"

"You are, after all, the Lord of Casterly Rock, the master of this castle." Adam paused slightly, realizing he had just said that, but he still said softly, "I'll just take your head with me."

In the shadows, Adam spoke in a flat tone, as if he were discussing what to eat tomorrow.

"You were legitimized by me, you are Lannister, do you want to be a kinslayer?" Tywin questioned, his voice still calm.

"Lord Tywin, please stop joking. How could I be a kinslayer? It is your own son, Jaime, who is known to all as the Kingslayer."

Adam emerged from the shadows, the dagger in his hand gleaming coldly in the candlelight, and approached Tywin, who was sitting on the toilet, step by step.

Tywin knew this guy was determined to kill him, so he stood up abruptly, but his legs went numb and he tilted to one side. When Adam saw that he was about to resist, he rushed forward.

Taking advantage of the moment he fell to the ground, Tywin grabbed a candle from the candlestick and threw it at Adam, while simultaneously pulling up his trousers.

Adam dodged the candle, and the candle wax extinguished the flame, plunging the room into darkness.

Adam strained his eyes, searching for Tywin's figure, but suddenly a cold glint flashed in the corner of his eye. He felt something bite his thigh, followed by a warm sensation spreading through his trouser leg.

Tywin had even hidden a sword in the toilet.

"Someone come here!"

Tywin knew he hadn't killed him, but he had definitely stabbed him, so he shouted for help outside.

"Don't bother, sir, I've already got this place under control."

"One person has arrived."

Tywin didn't believe him and instead shouted even louder.

Through the conversation just now, Tywin knew that Adam definitely did not control Casterly Rock. Otherwise, wouldn't handing over himself alive be more useful than just handing over a head?

Indeed, that was the case; there were only about ten people who actually fought alongside Adam, and he was just bluffing.

Left with no other option, Adam charged toward Tywin, knocking him to the ground. Tywin tried to stab him with his sword, but as expected, Adam was wearing inner armor under his clothes!

This is also why Tywin didn't directly stab Adam's torso with his sword but instead attacked his thigh.

To arrive here so quietly, they must have made preparations.

However, the previous probing, the quick thinking of throwing candles at people, and the correct attack position already represent the maximum potential that Tywin can unleash in a short period of time.

He's old. How could someone over fifty be a match for someone under twenty? A young person of that age wouldn't necessarily lose their fighting ability in a short time even if they were stabbed a few times.

In the darkness, Adam pinned Tywin down and stabbed him with a Tywin.

Tywin quickly reached out to stop him, and both of them used all their strength. In close combat, the longsword was not very effective, so Tywin had no choice but to fight Adam with his bare hands.

But Adam was young, and his ferocity was aroused by his injury. He shoved Tywin, making him face down, and tried to mount the duke in a riding position.

Tywin struggled to turn over, but that was all he could do. Adam used all his strength to sit on Tywin, then gripped the dagger in reverse and plunged it into Tywin's chest.

Tywin quickly grabbed Adam's dagger, his powerful survival instinct causing him to grip the steel with his flesh and blood.

Soon, blood seeped from between his fingers, dripping down the tip of the knife onto his face.

Even though it was dark, Tywin could still see Adam's wide-open eyes.

Suddenly Adam stopped applying vertical force and began to crank the dagger's handle, thus causing the blade to swirl in Tywin's hand.

The intense pain became unbearable, and he released his grip as if electrocuted. The next second, the dagger stabbed down.

As the cold blade pierced his chest, Tywin felt as if his lungs had deflated like punctured balloons. He tried to breathe, but blood gushed from his throat.

One slash, two slashes, three slashes—the cold dagger sliced through his clothes and pierced his skin, but was stopped by his ribs. Because he couldn't see, Adam could only attack haphazardly, trying different spots if one didn't work.

Abdomen, under ribs, neck—stab wherever you feel like it.

Feeling the steel moving in and out of his flesh, Tywin suddenly began to hallucinate. Even though the room was pitch black, a clear image appeared before his eyes:

"My lord, this is Rhaegar's daughter, a young, wicked dragon."

A the Gross man presented him with a small corpse wrapped in a red cloth.

When the red cloth was unfurled, the pale yellow dress worn by that tiny body was completely stained red.

"How did it become like this?" Tywin asked.

"There's nothing I can do, sir." Even when the man with pig-like eyes was fawning, his smile was extremely unpleasant, though Tywin found it pleasing to the eye. "She kept crying and screaming, and I stabbed her more than twenty times."

"Then you could smother her with a pillow! You idiot!"

Even though he was being scolded, Tywin could still recall the smile on his face that day that he couldn't hide.

He killed Rhaegar's daughter, Aerys's granddaughter, that damned father and son.

Soon, the scene before him shattered, Adam continued to stab him with the dagger. Only when Tywin beneath him stopped struggling did his attack cease.

He was panting heavily when he suddenly smelled a foul stench and gagged. When he scrambled out of the toilet, his body was soaked in blood.
