The nobles of Meereen lived in the pyramids, large and small, which, like rivets, firmly anchored the city to Slaver's Bay.

The Unsullied soldiers standing atop the pyramid were like statues, seemingly unshaken by wind or rain.

They were all tall and slender, and looked agile and lithe. Although they were said to be a group of castrated soldiers, no one doubted their fighting ability.

Tyrion and his party had arrived at Slaver's Bay two months earlier after a difficult journey.

However, it is extremely difficult to even meet this Dragon Queen.

In Tyrion's eyes, Griffin, with his aristocratic air and fierce military bearing, was the soul of their team.

Griffin finally had the chance to meet the Dragon Queen after paying half of his fortune to them.

Even if you get a chance, you still have to wait in line.

The Dragon Queen seems to have a lot to deal with today.

There seemed to be endless disputes between the common people who had just been freed from slavery and their former slave owners.

For example, when Hizdahr zo Loraq liberated the slaves, he stated that slave owners should pay the slaves wages for their service.

For slave owners who relied on slave workshops, the previously low cost of labor suddenly became prohibitively expensive. As a result, the former slaves demanded that the slave owners use the workshop's machinery, such as spinning machines, blacksmithing tools, or oxen, as collateral.

The slave owners naturally refused to comply with this demand, and the Dragon Queen was on the side of the freed slaves.

Daenerys demanded that they pay her people's wages as soon as possible.

However, where there's a will, there's a way. Slave owners resorted to methods like delaying payments and denying debts to protect their property as much as possible.

Meanwhile, the slave owners' discontent with Daenerys ' rule grew daily.

This resulted in extremely long queues for those seeking an audience with the Dragon Queen.

"Why is it so slow? Didn't we pay? Why do we still have to wait in line?" Griffin's son, Young Griff, turned to the young man with brass-colored skin who claimed to be Bloodriders and questioned him.

When did I take your money?

"You!"

Young Griff saw that he was being unreasonable, he immediately stepped forward to argue with him.

His actions, however, attracted the attention of the Unsullied around him.

Realizing something was terribly wrong, Griffin quickly stepped forward and said, "I'm so sorry, sir. This is my son. He misspoke. Please don't take it to heart."

Griffin, who also had blue hair, spoke as he slipped a beautifully crafted dagger into the hand of the young Bloodriders as a bribe.

Seeing how sensible this person was, the Bloodriders's anger dissipated, replaced by a kind smile.

"You think it's too slow? I think it's too slow too! After all, we only have one Dragon Queen. Those damned slave owners are always causing trouble for the Queen, and now even her dragons are giving us a hard time."

"Dragons?" Tyrion's interest was immediately piqued upon hearing news about dragons.

Owning a dragon has been his dream since childhood.

His greatest motivation for traveling thousands of miles to Slaver's Bay was firstly, to hope that he could one day reclaim Casterly Rock with the help of the Dragon Queen's dragons, and secondly, to be able to witness the legendary dragons with his own eyes.

The young Bloodriders explained to the group that Daenerys's dragons were gradually growing up. These terrifying beasts, capable of flying, breathing fire, and easily tearing apart the necks of bulls, were causing considerable trouble for the locals.

Just as they were talking, a man with his head down, carrying a sack in one hand and a money bag in the other, came out. As they passed Tyrion, they exuded a strong smell of mutton.

The young Bloodriders pointed at the man and said, "See that old man? The Dragon Queen's dragon burned his child, and he's here to demand compensation from the Queen."

Perhaps due to the angle, Tyrion, being shorter, observed the shepherd who had just lost his daughter.

I noticed that the other person's face showed not only sadness, but also guilt.

As for Young Griff, a hint of pity flickered in his eyes as he looked at his father. His father, sensing the emotions his son was displaying, felt a touch of relief. He reached out, patted Griffin's shoulder, and pulled him closer.

Sister Lemore, who was in their group, also prayed for the shepherd's daughter with the rites of the Seven.

For the shepherd who had lost his daughter, it was ultimately just a minor incident; after he left, everyone continued to wait in line.

Slaver's Bay was hotter than the Free Cities, and the group waited until the sun was setting, sweating profusely, before finally reaching the Dragon Queen's palace.

While Tyrion's height gave him an advantage in observing the shepherd with his head down, it would be more difficult to see the Dragon Queen clearly in the palace.

Tyrion could only faintly hear the Dragon Queen's voice but could not see her face.

Finally, those who had been received in the palace left, leaving only three people between Tyrion and the Dragon Queen, a fact that greatly excited the group.

Just then, the young Bloodriders suddenly ran over and said, "Gentlemen, the Dragon Queen is about to rest. Please come again tomorrow."

"Tomorrow!" Young Griff couldn't hold back any longer.

These people have been queuing here all day without eating or drinking a drop of water, and they've been baking in the sun all day. And you just tell them to come back tomorrow?! Is that fair?!

"What's all the fuss about! Khaleesi hasn't eaten or rested either, has she? Do you think that chair is comfortable?" the young Bloodriders interjected, Young Griff was still displeased.

His father, Griffin, quickly apologized and tried to comfort him. Just when everyone thought there was no hope, Griffin suddenly saw a very familiar person leading a group of twelve or thirteen-year-old young men who looked like servants.

"Barristan!"

"Sir, may I see that old nobleman?"

"The old coach? Sure, go ahead."

The Bloodriders generously replied, "After all, you're obligated to do something, and besides, Barristan needs to rest anyway."

After receiving permission, Griffin planned to first have Sister Lemore take her son away from the pyramid to rest, while he himself went to meet with Barristan.

But Young Griff was reluctant; he also wanted to meet this legendary Kingsguard.

However, Griffin didn't want to reveal too much to Barristan at once.

After all, he is now loyal to the Dragon Queen, so it would be too hasty for me to take Young Griff with me.

Ultimately, persuaded by Sister Lemore, Young Griff accepted his suggestion.

However, just as everyone was about to leave, they turned around and found Tyrion blocking the Bloodriders who was about to leave.

"Take me to the Dragon Queen, or her dragons will be killed!"

"Tyrion!" Griffin whispered, trying to call him back, but it was too late.

The Bloodriders felt they had been tricked by the dwarf and grabbed him by the collar, ready to throw him out, along with the Unsullied.

The Bloodriders spoke a few words in somewhat broken Valyrian, and the Unsullied, wielding Unsullied, surrounded them.

"Dwarf! Believe me or not, I'll throw you down right now!"

"Although I am just a dwarf, I still have some flesh on me. How about feeding me to the Dragon Queen's dragon?"

"What?!" The young Bloodriders had never seen such a bold dwarf before, and for a moment he was unsure what to do.

"I know the Dragon Queen is already very tired, but if something happens to her dragons, it won't just be a matter of being tired. You wouldn't want your Dragon Queen to be defeated by those slave owners, would you?"

"How could a slave owner be a match for the Dragon Queen?" the Bloodriders said matter-of-factly.

"Only a queen with dragons is a dragon queen," Tyrion retorted.

"Just you wait! If you dare to talk big, I'll kill you." The Bloodriders thought for a moment, made up his mind, and then walked towards Daenerys's palace.

"Tyrion, do you know what you're doing?" Young Griff was furious at Tyrion's unauthorized actions.

"Why the rush, Sir? We came to find the Dragon Queen precisely for her dragons. What's the point of our trip if something happens to them? Are we expecting her to lead the Unsullied across thousands of miles back to Westeros? Do you think that's possible?"

Tyrion's words make a lot of sense; after all, even the Unsullied army, as loyal as bricks, has its moments of desertion.

Although there are few records, even a castrated person is still a human being.

A journey of tens of thousands of miles is enough to wear down any army.

"So what do you think is wrong with his dragon?" Griffin asked.

"Someone wants to harm her dragon."

"Who wants to harm me?" Young Griff asked.

"How would I know? I just arrived too," Tyrion said jokingly, looking at Young Griff as if he were making a joke.

Realizing he had been tricked by the dwarf, Young Griff was a little angry, but he quickly calmed himself down.

A short while later, the young Bloodriders ran out, looked at Tyrion and his group, and said, "If he doesn't give Khaleesi a satisfactory answer, you'd better watch your heads. I'll pour molten iron over your heads."

Hearing these threatening words, Young Griff's face tightened.

Tyrion turned back and winked at the group, then followed the Bloodriders with his short legs, strolling leisurely towards the palace.

As Tyrion departed, Griffin also set off to meet the fearless Barristan.

As for Young Griff, he had to stay with Sister Lemore for the time being.

However, this was not so easy for him, a young man with a strong sense of self-respect, to accept.

Sister Lemore spoke up to comfort him, saying, "Young Griff, you are the most outstanding young man I have ever met. You are not being left behind by them; rather, they are serving you in their own way. You should not be unhappy."

After receiving some advice, Young Griff nodded and suppressed his emotions once again.
