Sails of Human Skin
The White Walkers, clearly clad in heavy armor, stood in the center on his warhorse, his immense strength evident at a glance, like the ramming horn of a warship.
Especially his opening stance, which reminded Jon of some Northerners.
He was flanked by two White Walkers, whose armor, though thinner, looked stronger than the White Walkers he had encountered at the beginning.
The Wights and their swarms roared as they charged toward the cavalry.
But the cavalrymen had no intention of killing them; instead, they simply threw out the giant nets they had prepared beforehand.
Giant nets entangled the charging Wights minions.
However, this method of capturing rather than eliminating them was risky, and the soldiers had to use special forks to pick them up.
"Damn it, this beast is incredibly strong." Adam gripped his fork and fiercely stabbed down a Wights.
He could tell that Jon was very concerned about this capture operation, so he thought he could make a good impression.
He had assumed that these Wights, looking emaciated and like stray dogs on the verge of death from starvation, would be easy for him to handle.
Unexpectedly, this Wights possessed astonishing strength, comparable to that of an elite soldier in the army.
Just then, a Wights wolf appeared out of nowhere and, despite its hind legs being entangled in a fishing net, pounced on a Night's Watch soldier.
The soldier's gleaming white teeth bit into his shoulder armor, making a crunching sound. Fortunately, someone nearby helped and shot him dead with an arrow.
The truly efficient approach would be a volley of arrows. For now, we can only let the army's sharpshooters deal with the stragglers.
Ygritte drew her bow and fired a precise arrow at a Wights that emerged from a fishing net.
A sharp arrow pierced its body, and it swayed and fell down the next second.
The Wights- Hu were very powerful, including some ferocious animal Wights, but they were quickly either entangled and captured in fishing nets or dealt with by the elite cavalry and Ranger.
The White Walkers standing in the middle were quickly surrounded.
The three White Walkers exchanged a glance, then charged forward, brandishing their frost spears.
Upon seeing the monster, Sandor immediately pulled up his mask, and the dozen or so knights behind him followed at Jon's command.
Sandor's Dragonglass spear slammed violently into the White Walkers's armor.
However, his own situation wasn't much better; the White Walkers were quite powerful.
Sandor was startled and quickly distanced himself from his opponent. He looked at the Dragonglass Dragonglass in his hand and found that it had shattered.
This is the shortcoming of Dragonglass weapons: although sharp, they are very brittle. When unprepared, Dragonglass weapons are indeed highly effective at killing White Walkers Wights, but White Walkers also know how to protect themselves; their armor, which is formed from solidified Ice, is a prime example.
Because Jon was personally overseeing the battle, the other knights, seeing the opportunity, used their numerical advantage to overwhelm the enemy, and the formation of the three-headed White Walkers was broken up.
The lead soldier shot down one of the Wights that was riding them with an arrow, but his archery skills were mediocre. It was only after a volley of arrows from the archers behind him that one of the Wights was killed.
The blue in the eyes of the Wights, struck by a Dragonglass Arrow, was like an extinguished lamp.
With the Wights falling, the White Walkers riding them naturally couldn't escape either. Although they managed to jump off in time, they were somewhat overwhelmed by the cavalry and Night's Watch Ranger. Using hooks and nets, despite the White Walkers ' great strength and superb martial arts, the two weaker White Walkers were still captured due to the disparity in numbers.
A burly man, weighing nearly 300 pounds including his armor, pressed down on them and then bound them with strong hemp rope.
Now only the most robust and powerful White Walkers remains. His armor is thicker, and although his limbs are not thick, they are still long.
Even when surrounded by seven or eight fully armed, heavily armored soldiers, he was able to hold his own.
One of the soldiers, who was at the very front and eager to make a name for himself, was exhausted from launching several attacks. The White Walkers seized the opportunity, and the blue light in his eyes intensified. In the next second, he used his Ice spear to pierce the heavily armored soldier's throat.
Such a powerful attack startled the others, and the other soldiers surrounding them quickly put some distance between themselves.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the White Walkers, who were surrounded, plunged a finger into the throat of the heavily armored soldier who was lying on the ground, convulsing and bleeding. When the heavily armored soldier stood up again, his eyes had turned blue.
This made others even more hesitant to step forward.
The heavily armored soldiers, now turned into Wights, used themselves as human shields to protect the White Walkers, standing in front of and behind the others in a standoff.
The heavily armored soldiers, transformed into Wights, were immediately able to unleash their physical limits, launching tireless attacks on the others.
Facing this comrade who had been fighting alongside them just a moment ago, the expressions on the others' faces became extremely complicated, and their eyes revealed a hint of fear.
Gaha gaha-
Although his neck was pierced, his vocal cords were not damaged. The transformed heavy armored soldier emitted a grating howl, deterring others from approaching.
Daenys, who was watching the battle with Jon in the distance, looked even more solemn. He imagined a terrible scene - after a great battle, both sides would be exhausted, but the White Walkers would only need to wave their hands, and the fallen soldiers would join their ranks.
How can such an opponent be defeated?
Just as he was filled with anxiety about the future, a black and white shadow rushed past him.
It was Jon!
He charged straight into the battle formation, weaving through the besieging soldiers. The Wights heavy infantrymen, seeing someone charging toward their master, roared and launched an attack on Jon.
Jon dodged the attack with a single dodge, leaving everyone speechless. But what happened next was rather horrifying.
Jon actually grabbed the arm of the heavily armored Wights and slammed him into the White Walkers behind him.
The heavily armored Wights, weighing nearly 300 pounds including its armor, slammed into the White Walkers like a cannonball.
When the White Walkers stood up, its armor was tattered, with several conspicuous white cracks running through its entire body.
"Your Majesty actually—" Alliser stared wide-eyed, ignoring the wind and snow.
He had naturally heard about the Harrenhal Mutiny, but he couldn't figure out how it was done. Now he finally had the answer.
Jaime was also incredulous; he had never understood why Casterly Rock had fallen like that, but now it didn't seem so unacceptable.
If someone told him now that Jon had single-handedly stormed Casterly Rock, he could accept it.
That blow clearly broke the White Walkers's bones, and for a moment he couldn't even stand up.
Jon gestured for the soldiers to tie him up.
"Behave yourself! Or I'll kill you!" Sandor threatened, pointing a Dragonglass spear at the arm of one of the White Walkers.
But the White Walkers not only refused to surrender, but also dared to fight back.
The bound White Walkers actually rammed its face into Sandor's spear, but fortunately Sandor dodged it by taking a step back.
"Seven Hells."
Sandor had barely uttered a sigh when he saw the blue light in the eyes of the other two White Walkers blaze brightly.
The trapped Wights all began to riot, struggling to climb out of the fishing nets.
They relentlessly tore at the fishing nets entangled around them, their withered faces contorted, revealing broken teeth, even if it meant their teeth would break.
More soldiers surged in from all directions, but their movements showed obvious hesitation as they approached.
Especially for those soldiers who had never believed in the existence of the White Walkers, seeing such a ferocious and terrifying enemy for the first time, even though these Wights were trapped in fishing nets.
If they were normal, living people, they would have surrendered and begged for mercy at this point.
But these Wights were different; they bit with their teeth, tore with their hands, and kicked with their feet. Their terrifying fighting spirit made even the most hardened men shudder.
Some soldiers even wondered if they could truly defeat such an enemy.
Just then, they heard a resolute voice behind them. "For our land, for our families, cut off their arms, break their backs, knock out their teeth! Long live the living!"
Jon's voice carried on the wind to everyone's ears, giving courage to the somewhat panicked soldiers.
Jon approached the three bound White Walkers, raised his Nightbreaker Valyrian steel sword, and severed one of their arms at the shoulder. Then he grabbed Sandor's Dragonglass and pierced its knee.
Just as Jon had predicted, both the Valyrian steel and the Dragonglass required a fatal strike to at least the torso to kill him.
Otherwise, if they really died from a mere graze, they would be too weak.
Then the others followed suit, severing the limbs of the Wights and breaking their spines. Soon, only a patch of wriggling, shriveled worms remained on the snow-covered plain where fine snow was falling.
As for the three White Walkers, they were tied up and hung like crabs on a supply wagon.
Although Toki displayed great fighting power, they ultimately emerged victorious, greatly alleviating the fear in everyone's hearts.
The soldiers, in particular, couldn't help but marvel at Jon's divine power amidst their victory.
But players like Daenys and Jaime still have some concerns.
Now Jon finally had time to observe them. Compared to the Wights, the White Walkers had more complete appearances and bodies, and their frosty white skin truly lived up to their name, "White Ghost."
"Your Majesty, can this thing understand us?" Daenys asked, standing next to Jon.
"Who knows, let's give it a try." Jon turned to look at a large man in the crowd.
"Tormund, come and try."
"Me?" Tormund pointed to himself, and seeing that everyone around him was looking at him, he mustered up his courage and stepped forward.
After arriving at the Iron Islands, Tormund also received a small castle. He left his eldest son at home and took his other sons and Jon back to the Beyond the Wall to capture the White Walkers.
Along the way, he constantly boasted about how he had easily defeated White Walkers.
"Hello! My name is Tormund!"
Tormund stood before the White Walkers and gave a rather comical self-introduction.
However, he was only greeted by the sound of the White Walkers grinding against each other, a sound as Ice.
Jon recalled the day he killed Euron, when a figure resembling the Night King spoke to him remotely. He reasoned that perhaps the White Walkers before him weren't powerful enough to speak human language.
So they simply sent people back to the Wights and White Walkers.
In this ambush, they captured more than seventy Wights and three White Walkers, meaning they had completed more than half of their mission.
Jon could consider returning to Castle Black, or capturing a few more.
Just as he was contemplating his next move, the Skinchanger responsible for scouting the area reported to him that several more groups of Wights had been discovered nearby.
Jon also began scouting with his Raven and discovered that there were indeed seven or eight groups of White Walkers and Wights around, ranging in number from a dozen to over a hundred.
Jon instinctively assumed that the White Walkers were after him, but he soon discovered that this was not the case.
They appeared to come from different places, but their destination was exactly the same – Hardhome.
"What are they going to Hardhome for?" Jon wondered.
Hardhome is located on a peninsula, and I've never heard of any valuable resources there.
The march towards Hardhome, the large patches of skin peeled off the White Walkers — Jon felt that these two things were somehow connected.
However, if they head towards Hardhome, they will surely encounter a large number of White Walkers, and it will certainly be very dangerous.
Let's send Raven over to see what's going on before making a decision.
So a dozen or Raven, along with the Skinchanger ' eagles, owls, and other animals, flew toward Hardhome.
Along the way, they encountered more and more Wights. When they flew to Hardhome, it was conservatively estimated that at least 30,000 Wights had already gathered there, and they were still continuously gathering.
"Forget it, it's too dangerous. Let's go back." Jon saw that Hardhome, which had been deserted before, was now bustling with people, like a lively city.
It's a pity there's no conversation in this town; it's as if everyone living here is mute.
Moreover, these Wights had almost all their back and thigh skin peeled off, which was quite puzzling.
Just as Jon was about to return, he saw Wights roaming about in large numbers on the beach not far away.
They seemed to have built a strange dock here, with rafts floating on it. The rafts were not large; at most five or six people could stand on one raft, and the larger ones would not exceed ten.
However, there were so many of them that you could see thousands of them all over the coast, stretching for seven or eight miles.
"Raft?"
Jon Snow was startled! Were these White Walkers going to set sail?
"By sea around the Wall?"
He continued to observe and discovered that the "formation" on those rafts was actually all skin from Wights!
Human skin sails?
