After Shrek defeated the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy, he hurried to watch Ye Guyi face the Holy Spirit Cult, whose members were poised to attack her.

• Yan Jingzhe’s Light Phoenix Domain trapped four Evil Titled Douluo, and Ye Guyi purified them and absorbed their energy before Shangguan Weier brought Yan Jingzhe and Ye Guyi to the Plain Alliance.
• Yan Jingzhe asked Shangguan Weier to let Ye Guyi join Shrek Academy while remaining with the Plain Alliance, then met Long Xiaoyao and reported the encounter to Xuan Zi.
• Shrek Academy entered the tournament, where Huo Yuhao defeated seven Earth Dragon Gate contestants in a row, and Yan Jingzhe explained Soul Spirit Contracts to representatives of the three empires and the Body Sect.

• Xiao Hongchen forfeited the remaining individual matches after Xiao Xiao and Meng Hongchen were both eliminated, and Shrek won the team battle after Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong’er’s Golden Road overcame the Hongchen siblings’ fusion skill.

Yan Jingzhe protected Ye Guyi, helped Shrek Academy win the tournament, and led the allied forces through the Sun Moon Empire’s attacks. Back at Shrek, he proposed recruiting the Great Star Dou Forest’s Savage Beasts, and Di Tian asked what Shrek could offer in return.

• Ye Guyi defeated Huang Zheng, but the Holy Spirit Cult tried to claim her until Yan Jingzhe intervened and forced Li Feiyu and the Four Great Elders to back down.

• Shrek Academy defeated the Holy Spirit Cult in the tournament final, and Long Xiaoyao’s appearance triggered a battle between the allied forces and the Sun Moon Empire.
• Yan Jingzhe and the Radiant Tower protected the allied Titled Douluo from Xu Tianran’s hidden artillery, then helped the forces escape the battlefield.
