Background / History
Victor was a pirate in his original life before transmigrating into the East Blue world alongside Luffy. The pair emerged from wine barrels aboard Alvida’s ship, where Victor immediately displayed a One-Tomoe Sharingan, kunai proficiency, and a deliberately misleading “magician” persona. 1
After Luffy defeated Alvida, he invited Victor to become his first companion and first mate. Victor accepted the role while treating the voyage as both a route to the Pirate King’s dream and an opportunity to accumulate Ninja Way Points through combat, altered events, and world-shaking actions. 3
He became one of the Straw Hats’ principal combatants and planners, recruiting Zoro alongside Luffy, protecting Nami during the East Blue conflicts, and developing an increasingly ruthless reputation through his willingness to kill enemies he judged to be serious threats. 5 18 158
Following Kuma’s separation of the crew, Victor and Robin arrived on Baltigo. There he awakened Sabo’s lost memories, negotiated training in advanced Armament Haki, and spent the two-year separation undertaking missions and training under Dragon. 214 215 252
Appearance
Victor is a black-haired young man whose normally deep black eyes transform according to his ocular techniques. His combat identity is strongly associated with scarlet Sharingan eyes, later joined by a purple Rinnegan. 1 213 503
- Short black hair and dark eyes when his dōjutsu is inactive. 213
- Scarlet Sharingan with one, two, or three tomoe. 1 35 86
- Later possesses heterochromatic red-and-purple eyes through the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan. 503
- Commonly carries a black blade at his waist, first Shusui and later Nidai Kitetsu. 213 468
- Often wears dark clothing, including a black coat during later arcs. 254
Personality
Victor is calm, calculating, and exceptionally observant in combat. He habitually studies opponents’ mechanics, weaknesses, Haki flow, movement patterns, and battlefield terrain before acting. This makes him both a direct fighter and an effective infiltrator capable of disabling communications, deceiving enemies, and removing priority targets without warning. 131 168 219
He is ruthless toward enemies who threaten his companions. Victor kills Bruno to prevent Robin’s possible abduction, executes Shura after the priest damages the Going Merry, and turns Kanjuro into a controlled puppet after exposing his betrayal. 131 158 394 However, he does not kill indiscriminately: he spares Magellan because further chaos in Impel Down could endanger innocent people. 229
Away from battle, Victor is teasing and mischievous. He presents simple tricks as “magic,” bickers with Zoro, steals Sanji’s cigarette to provoke him, and enjoys needling his companions. 3 9 54 His confidence in Luffy’s future is unwavering; he views his duty as creating the openings Luffy needs to become Pirate King rather than replacing him. 215 441
Abilities & Skills
Naruto System
Victor possesses a System that awards Ninja Way Points for defeating significant opponents, changing major events, and creating world-shaking incidents. He spends those points in an exchange store for ninjutsu, bloodline abilities, tools, and physical enhancements. 3

- Used the System to obtain the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Perfect Sage Body, and Kurama. 224 246
Sharingan and Genjutsu
Victor’s Sharingan grants exceptional dynamic vision, predictive perception, and the ability to see through rapid movements. It allows him to treat opponents such as Kuro as if they are moving in slow motion. 15 27

- Perceives the flow of Haki, which enabled him to learn Ryuo from Sabo’s technique. 219

- Uses Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique to restrain opponents mentally. 58
- Restores Sabo’s sealed memories through a Sharingan-based mental attack. 214
- Uses Mangekyō Sharingan control to turn Kanjuro into a puppet and feed false intelligence to Orochi. 394

Haki, Taijutsu, and Swordsmanship
Victor combines ninja techniques with physical combat, Haki, and swordsmanship rather than relying solely on chakra. 131
- Observation Haki — Predicts attacks and improves his reactions; refined through training under Dragon. 131 252
- Armament Haki — Hardens his body and weapons, allowing him to block Shura’s heated javelin and strike powerful opponents. 131 158

Perfect Sage Body and Kurama
Victor’s Perfect Sage Body grants extraordinary vitality and recovery, allowing him to endure high-intensity training and recover from severe chakra depletion. 246 252
Kurama is Victor’s Nine-Tails partner. Victor initially suppresses the beast through his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, but the relationship develops into active battlefield cooperation. 246 448
- Supplies massive chakra reserves and regenerative endurance. 246 252
- Can manifest physically and fight under Victor’s direction. 538
