"Gone?"
The Void shattered, transforming into streams of air.
This expanse of Void that carried the Blood Purgatory Literary Web could not withstand the onslaught of destructive power. After utterly collapsing, the concepts that formed the Void—space, footholds, and dimensions—evaporated into streams of air like water vapor heated to boiling.
When the radiance faded, the surrounding scene seemed to have returned to ancient times, carrying an aura of the creation of heaven and earth. Amid those entwining streams of air, someone floated in midair. The red cloak behind him fluttered in the wind, yet a puzzled look appeared on his face.
"Not a single trace remains, nor is there any lingering aura. Even if he was utterly destroyed by the chaotic radiance, power of that intensity would still leave a shadow behind after destroying his true body. It is impossible for there to be no trace at all, much less..."
Surging fluctuations of will had long since spread throughout the surroundings. As they pulsed and searched, they resembled a gale sweeping across the land, making every stream of air grow ever more turbulent and swirl about, nearly turning into tornadoes!
If such tornadoes appeared over the oceans of the East Flower Continent, they would be enough to become typhoons sweeping through the region, bringing calamity to the island nations along their path and Great Rui's coast. Yet here, they were merely being used by Blood Purgatory Venerable Chaos to search for traces of the Black Sha Half-Body.
"Given Tribulation Baleful Intent's characteristics, such destructive radiance should have been enough to grievously wound him, but it should not have annihilated him completely. Otherwise, I would not have needed to go to such lengths to gather tens of millions of stars. Refining these stars also cost me no small amount of effort."
