At the end of the starry sky lay boundless Chaos!
That rolling Chaos spread and eroded without cease, like maggots clinging to bone. The surrounding starry sky, Void, time, matter, spirit, and all other multifarious forms of existence could not maintain themselves beneath its corrosion, and were all reduced to utter nothingness!
This nothingness was not shattering or destruction, but erasure at the root, as though these things had never existed at all. Even time itself was corroded by this Chaos, rendering the entire surrounding timeline meaningless; thus, even traces of existence ceased to exist.
Yet within this indescribable Chaos, there still remained faint traces of order, spreading out in fine strands and threads, extending throughout the starry sky.
One of them stretched in a single direction, all the way to a rather vast starfield, where it divided into wisps and merged into every corner of that starfield.
Though this starfield was situated within the starry sky, it was covered by a sky above. Wind, rain, thunder, and lightning were all present there, and the four seasons shifted in turn across this vast, immeasurable starfield, giving each of the four directions a different season.
Nurtured by the seasons, the many continents within the starfield rose and fell, changed and transformed. Countless living beings were born, aged, sickened, and died, experiencing all the joys and sorrows of life; even the demons were no exception. After death, most souls of living beings followed the guidance of the Divine Path into the Netherworld, completing a cycle of reincarnation.
Throughout this process, a pair of eyes watched without ever turning away.
Those eyes seemed able to see through past and present, eternal and unchanging, quietly observing the transformations across the starfield and extracting threads of fundamental rules from every corner, which passed through those
