Where there was a ship, there was naturally water. The ship rode atop the water, and the water lay beneath the ship.
After Qiu Yan's Dharma Form passed through that Ghost Gate, it sped along the Yin-Yang Road. This Yin-Yang Road reached through the Ghost Gate was clearly very different from the usual Yin-Yang Roads, where divine spirits used incense and offerings as guiding markers.
This Yin-Yang Road was strewn with all manner of peril. Only someone like Qiu Yan, in Dharma Form, with Human Path Thunder guarding his side, could shatter every obstructing yin demon and ghostly creature, regardless of strength or size, without pausing in the slightest. Any other cultivator would inevitably have had to endure layer upon layer of obstruction.
After rushing through in this manner, the moment he emerged from the passage, he saw this great ship. Its sails were raised as it traveled across the water. The exits of the Yin-Yang Road passages along the route actually floated and lingered around the ship, without departing.
Looking farther out, he saw a river suspended in midair. Beneath the river lay empty space, with only faint clouds appearing and vanishing.
"This should be a branch of the River of Forgetfulness. Yet this branch is strange as well. The memories drifting through the river water have merged with Netherworld qi to construct a Netherworld will. As this ship advances, it continuously merges into each Yin-Yang Road passage around it..."
Qiu Yan's Divine Spirit Body had established foundations in the Netherworld long ago. Only after he ascended to Star Lord and condensed a star did he transfer the Netherworld foundation into the Mortal Realm, forming a star amid the starry sky. It had now evolved into a Heaven Lord
