In the dream, Qiu Yan rose from his rocking chair. With a turn of thought, he knew that a deity had extended its Domain of Law, drawing out a thread of his consciousness and bringing it into a dream illusion.
In truth, if Qiu Yan's life essence had not been stable, an ordinary person—even one protected by Official Qi—would have had their soul torn from their body under the pull of this Domain of Law.
