Chiya suddenly turned and flew toward Kaguya.
The hem of his black robe swept through the air, and in the blink of an eye, he had returned above the rubble.
Kaguya still hung there, her cascading white hair nearly touching the ground. When he had caught her earlier, her arm had slipped from her sleeve, and she remained in that same position now.
Chiya stopped beside her and sheathed Futsu no Mitama.
"Kaguya."
He called her name.
Kaguya did not respond, and there was no movement in the mental space either.
Chiya stretched out his arms and carefully lifted her into them.
The power of time that had enveloped her earlier fell back under his control as he approached. That feeling as though it could snap at any moment had vanished. Chiya could even clearly distinguish which forces kept her afloat and which were slowing the changes in her body.
He lowered his head and looked at Kaguya.
Her complexion remained pale, and the residual Chakra in her meridians had almost entirely dissipated. Even with the power of time sustaining her, that body had long since reached its limit.
Chiya sent a stream of Chakra into her.
The gentle power entered her body and slowly flowed through her meridians. However, when it reached her chest and abdomen, the Chakra scattered through several ruptured points and could no longer continue forward.
Chiya frowned and immediately stopped.
His power now far surpassed what it had been before, yet Kaguya's body still could not withstand it. Forcing more Chakra into her would only worsen her injuries.
What should he do?
Chiya supported her shoulders and back, his right hand hovering before her forehead.
Just then, he suddenly sensed something unusual.
The power of time he had previously left on Kaguya actually trembled slightly
