"Such a hassle... What am I supposed to do?..." Daisy spent a while knitting a hat for the baby, then sat in her office, yawning.
The chaos outside had not affected her at all. She had something far more important to worry about—something much more important than the Spiritual Energy Revival.
With only two days left until Valentine's Day, Director Daisy was consumed by anxiety. How was she supposed to spend the holiday, and with whom? The pressure peaked when she saw Hill walking toward her.
She tried to force a smile, but the corners of her mouth were stiff. She barely managed a "Hi."
"You look awful. What have you been doing? I need to talk to you." It turned out that while Valentine's Day was as serious as a cosmic crisis in Director Daisy's mind, it was utterly insignificant to Hill. Hill was here on official business.
"Our people have located the base of AIM's remaining members. According to our informant, they're prepared to hand over Murdock in exchange for leniency from intelligence agencies around the world. They even intend to transform themselves into a purely commercial research institution." Hill briefed her on her recent work.
Daisy did not understand what this had to do with her and asked hesitantly, "So?"
Hill glanced at her. "So I want to put Murdock in the super-prison and use his abilities to fight crime."
Doctor Octopus, Sandman, Rhino, who had been captured by Spider-Man some time ago, and Lorelei, the Asgardian banshee Hill had captured herself—Hill already had four super-criminals in hand. From the look of it, she intended to keep expanding the roster.
Daisy herself did not particularly approve of this plan. S.H.I.E.L.D. was not so short on manpower that they needed a few super-criminals, was it? On Earth as
