Valkyrie put on an expression that said she was furious, but feared hurting Doctor Banner, so she would not stoop to Daisy's level. Seeing through the woman's bluster, Captain Marvel despised her inwardly, but still helped talk Daisy down.

Though she wanted to kill this troublemaker, Daisy ultimately chose to put the bigger picture first. They could deal with everything else later; she had to find out what was going on.

"Let me explain the situation again..." Valkyrie's face was full of magnanimity, as though she had put aside past grievances for the greater good. But Daisy felt sick at the sight of her act and cut her off.

"I don't need your explanation. I'll ask them myself! Idiot! Let me tell you this: if you dare show off that clumsy tongue of yours again, I'll make sure you never speak another word." Daisy radiated authority as she turned to Captain Marvel. "Carol, keep an eye on things on Earth. I'm going into space to talk to the Celestials. If anything comes up, I'll contact Jean and have her tell you the details."

As a deep-blue star gate opened, Daisy vanished from Avengers headquarters and headed into the depths of space to investigate the truth behind the incident.

"I'll go get Jean." Captain Marvel volunteered herself. Valkyrie had concealed the matter of the Celestials attacking Asgard, conflating it with the Celestials' attack on Earth. Everyone had begun to doubt her words; at most, they could use them as a reference. Everything depended on Daisy's investigation.

As for the fact that the two sides had already gone to war and had no basis for dialogue, there was no need to worry. These days, whoever had the bigger fist had the louder voice. Under the threat of force, enemies could become friends.
