Daisy had always been interested in the laws of death. Unfortunately, DC guarded that field closely, while Lady Death on Marvel's side was not an easy deity to deal with either.
By her understanding, these clones should never have encountered the god of death. Otherwise, if all those insights into death gathered together, it would be like an ordinary person witnessing death hundreds of times. Could that person still be alive? They would have died without even ashes left. That was more absurd than Thanos or Deadpool; it simply made no logical sense.
From that, she inferred that clones did not count as life. Yet Madelyne was a counterexample. As Jean's clone, did she count as a living being? She had feelings of her own, a life of her own, a son of her own, and even her own thread of fate. From that perspective, clones were life after all.
The two entirely different conclusions left Daisy thoroughly confused. She sighed at Mr. Sinister, marveling at how overbearing this guy's black technology was. Being able to confuse even someone as Pseudo-Omniscient as her was a skill in itself.
His scientific talent had gone wildly off in a bizarre direction, but this technology truly was impressive. If Odin or Thor had been brought here, they probably would have had no solution beyond killing him by force.
Daisy had no need to argue with him over whether someone was the original body or not. She only needed to erase this person from causality.
But Jean was today's main character, so Daisy did not act rashly.
"Scott Summers, if you still acknowledge yourself as a Mutant and an X-Man, then you should submit to legal punishment instead of hiding in this rat hole and playing king." Jean wore the X-Men standard combat suit
