"It's been so many years, and you're still the same." Daisy sighed wistfully. It was nothing but a polite remark. Stark had been born in '69 and was now past fifty. Years of constant strain had gradually aged his face, and the once meticulously groomed mustache now showed streaks of gray.

Seemingly having guessed his question, Daisy spoke first. "I know about your discovery. Adam's death was deeply regrettable. He died fighting for the Multiverse."

"So?" Stark did not care in the slightest whether Adam was alive or dead. He only wanted to know what came next.

"So I'm establishing a defensive line here to resist the enemy's invasion."

"You already knew something was going to happen? You've been here all these years?" he demanded, unable to hold back. But then he noticed something was wrong. The Daisy before him was merely a phantom, like a three-dimensional projection.

"Daisy left very little energy here, and we've already used up a large portion of it. If you have any questions, I can answer them." Doctor Strange had finished treating his patient. Wiping his hands, he gestured for Stark and Captain America to follow him.

The three moved to a corner, and Stark indicated that he could begin.

It was this race that killed the Living Tribunal. They call themselves the Beyonder Race, and the Beyonder we encountered was merely one of their juveniles—or perhaps an adolescent.
