Early the next morning, Mariko came to have breakfast with her. Afterward, she took her on a tour of the famed Senso-ji Temple. In the afternoon, they went to Shinjuku and took a quick look around. At dinner, after returning to the Yashida old mansion, Shingen wanted to have a serious talk with her.

"Miss Johnson is someone Director Fury values highly. I wonder what you think of Yashida Corporation's current situation?" To appear formal, Shingen got straight to the point and asked in English.

Director Fury values me? How come I didn't know that?! Still, Daisy could not demean herself as some insignificant bystander. She put on an inscrutable expression and said, "Yashida Corporation has major problems."

"Oh? Where do those problems lie?" Shingen Yashida pressed on.

Daisy studied him carefully for a moment. Did he really think she was someone important? After considering it, she answered, "There are both internal and external problems."

Shingen Yashida sighed. "Has it become that obvious? Even outsiders can see our weakness now!"

Daisy was somewhat surprised. This was a conclusion she had reached by combining her memories with information from various sources. Whether anyone could reach the same conclusion based solely on clues leaked to the outside world, she really could not say.

Shingen Yashida knew his own family's affairs well. In his view, Old Man Yashida had concealed things very carefully and should not have been so easily seen through. Yet Daisy spoke with such certainty, which meant she was Nick Fury's trusted confidante with unusual channels of information. Perhaps S.H.I.E.L.D. even had agents hidden among Yashida's upper ranks.

"I hope S.H.I.E.L.D. can help me through this crisis." His tone was sincere, and his attitude was even more resolute.
