Cyclops had been outside the medical room all along. After waking up, he saw Professor Charles's condition and glared furiously at Captain America.

"Scott, this was my own choice." Without his powers to sustain him, Professor Charles was extremely weak. It was as if every illness had descended upon him at once. The fact that he could still force himself to speak was already proof of extraordinary willpower.

Cyclops was dissatisfied with this outcome. His fists clenched, and he seemed about to say something to Captain America, but before he could speak, his attention shifted away from the professor because Daisy and Jean walked in together.

Both had red hair, tall figures, and beautiful faces. One was gentle beneath strength, the other strong beneath gentleness. Their temperaments were like two sides of the same whole, yet some subtle sense blended them together. As they walked side by side, there was a strange rhythm to their steps, as though outsiders could hardly insert themselves between them.
