Adam Refuses to Accept Defeat

Baldy was overjoyed. His combat instincts were still stuck at the level of whoever held a weapon was stronger. In his eyes, Red Skull's knife had flown away, and he had lost an arm. This was the perfect opportunity.

The battle that followed was an absolute mess.

Red Skull had learned from his earlier lesson. Though blood was gushing from his severed arm, he did not even look at it. His left hand tightly gripped the Cosmic Cube, and he used its power to teleport behind Baldy before opening his mouth and biting down on his neck.

His teeth gleamed coldly. The bite was savage and ruthless, carrying the desperate conviction of a man fighting for his life.

"My ear, my ear!" Unfortunately, Red Skull had lost too much blood and an arm, leaving him unsteady on his feet. His bite went slightly off target and caught Baldy right on the ear.

The two struggled desperately. Baldy, with his broad face and large ears, had one ear bitten off. The pain left tears, snot, and blood streaming down his face. His huge glasses were knocked away as well. With his vision blurred, Baldy finally felt anger.

He was severely nearsighted. Without his glasses, he was practically blind.

Not being able to see clearly had another benefit: no matter how vicious Red Skull looked, he could not see it. Everything was a hazy white blur. He vaguely made out a figure before him, gripped his gun with both hands, estimated the other man's position, and thrust.

"How did this happen?!" Adam's face was filled with disbelief.

Daisy expressed her opinion through silence. Her "good friend" had already dragged her reputation all the way to the edge of the universe.
