Stark was in a terrible situation. The aftermath of the nuclear bomb attack had frightened everyone—and enraged everyone. As many people as had once worshipped him now hated him.
With the internet paralyzed, Stark had Pepper deliver the data to Daisy. But Pepper's car was stopped by an angry crowd on the way, and even Stark Group's bodyguards joined the condemnation. Daisy hurriedly sent Thunderbird and Blink to support them. She needed to see Ultron's original data before making any further judgment.
"Chief, we're back." As Blink's portal opened, Thunderbird, the burly bodyguard, and Pepper stumbled out.
"Kill her!"
"Kill that shameless bitch!" The crowd's furious cries drifted through Blink's portal into the conference room.
What a headache! Daisy forcibly suppressed her irritation, gestured with her left hand, pulled Blink over, and closed the portal.
"God, Daisy, please help Tony!" Pepper was sobbing uncontrollably, but she knew what mattered most. She took out a backup data drive and handed it to Daisy.
"Mr. President, and the other leaders, please strictly control the troops stationed in your respective regions. Do not allow any soldiers to leave their barracks." Daisy looked at the old men on the screen and stressed solemnly, "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s command network is functioning smoothly right now. If you wish, you can use my network, but as for the old internet, I'm sure your computer experts have already told you—it's best not to log in again."
In peacetime, politicians held the dominant position, while the military became subordinate. But in chaotic times, that relationship would reverse. These politicians would do everything in their power to suppress the military's influence.
Daisy did not want troops from various nations taking to the streets to maintain order. The military could stabilize the situation quickly, but it would be far too easy for Ultron
