Considering that one-third of Marvel's disasters had been caused by Mr. Fantastic, while another third had resulted from Wolverine recklessly jumping across timelines, Daisy kept these two troublemaking generals in the present.

Pepper wanted to go too. To that end, she practiced freestyle fighting all night, but her skill was truly underwhelming. Aware of her own shortcomings, she used the key Stark had left behind to activate the new artificial intelligence, "Friday," as her armor's support system. In theory, she had some combat capability. But considering how well Ultron knew Stark, Daisy made her abandon the idea of going to the future.

Captain America would lead the Avengers, who had no connection whatsoever to Cable, into the future to destroy Ultron's main body, while Daisy would lead S.H.I.E.L.D. and the X-Men in handling the present.

With Director Daisy herself holding down the fort here, even though she was somewhat weakened, she could still wield more than half her strength. She could also resonate with Jean and enter the White Phoenix state, the strongest state of a Phoenix host, nearly invincible in the material world. Her side did not need especially formidable top-tier fighters.

Captain America, on the other hand, would definitely find himself surrounded by enemies in the future. Without Stark's brain or Hulk's brute force, the Avengers' combat power had declined severely.

After consulting them personally, Daisy had Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman go with them.

The Fantastic Four split in two because Human Torch was unwilling to go on a mission with Quicksilver and Crystal. Mr. Fantastic and Human Torch stayed in the present, while The Thing and Invisible Woman went to the future.

"What if we can't destroy Ultron's main body?" Captain America raised a question.

Daisy felt that with Wanda there, anything could be destroyed. But then
