A Brand-New Ultron

"Uh... guys! You may have mistaken me for someone else. I'm telling you, I really love your shiny coats, but nobody better touch me. I'm the invincible Lord Deadpool!" Dressed in a red combat suit and carrying twin swords on his back, Deadpool was being relentlessly chased by more than ten mechanical soldiers.

Lasers struck him from time to time with soft puffs, yet Deadpool's speed barely slowed.

"We should help him!" Deadpool was not particularly famous, but Captain America had seen his file. Though he was puzzled as to why the man had appeared in the fortieth century, he did not hesitate to offer aid.

Quicksilver and Wanda joined forces and quickly dealt with the twelve mechanical soldiers bearing Stark's insignia on their chests, successfully rescuing Deadpool.

"Captain, salute!" Deadpool gave a crooked salute, then, as if he had discovered a new continent, examined the stern-faced Cable with an exaggerated expression of shock.

"Do you know Thanos? You look a lot like a friend of mine, except your face isn't purple... Do you like watching Bambi?" Deadpool squeezed himself right in front of Cable.

Cable shoved him away with a sinister look. "I don't know you, and I don't know your bullshit friend!"

Captain America quickly asked Deadpool why he was here.

Deadpool's answer was an utter mess. After a long time piecing it together, they barely managed to establish one fact.

According to Deadpool, someone named Cassie, or Tracy, or something like that had hired him to kill a purple-skinned person.

That person was very powerful. Deadpool could not defeat him, but the other party could not do anything to him either.

Deadpool had huge gaps in his memory concerning the purple-skinned freak. The freak had said Deadpool should have died, yet Deadpool kept coming back to life
