They ignored the enemy's words and mechanically pulled their triggers, determined to take down as many Brood as they could before they died.
"Alright, I'm done over here!" After holding out for a full ten minutes, Gamora's somewhat weak voice came through the communicator. She had taken a wide detour and, despite suffering injuries all over her body, managed to kill the Brood that had sealed off the space.
Daisy was overjoyed. The next instant, she teleported beside the humanoid Brood and slashed its waist with the God-Slaying Sword.
She had spent ages preparing that teleportation. Prepared against unprepared, and with her lightning-fast speed, the humanoid Brood had no chance to fight back before she cut it cleanly in two at the waist.
In the blink of an eye, she teleported herself and the bisected Brood to Gladiator's command headquarters. "This thing definitely knows a lot of intelligence. Take it and study it!"
Leaving those words behind, she returned to the battlefield once more.
The humanoid Brood seemed to have been an important figure. The Brood attacked like lunatics, and after fighting for an hour, Daisy had exhausted nearly every method she had. This time, no matter how much she rallied them, they could not hold on any longer.
