Activating one's bloodline through a Terrigen Crystal was the means by which all Inhumans manifested their genes. Yet Terrigen Crystal was ultimately an artificially synthesized substance, naturally containing impurities. Complete absorption was impossible. Even after all these years, minute particles still remained in her body, hidden in the deepest parts of her cells.
