Ch. 89Father of Bu Le

After Dai Tianlong’s death deepened the conflict between Spirit Hall and the Star Luo Empire, Qian Xunyi sent Bu Kuaile to deliver demands designed to provoke Dai Tianfeng. • Bu Kuaile demanded that Dai Tianfeng cede territory, pay ten million Gold Soul Coins, and open five cities to Spirit Hall’s free trade, while Ling Yuan subdued an officer who protested his insult to the emperor.

As the rats sank into despair, Tang Chen urged Tang Xiao to stay alive and wait for a chance at freedom, but on the fifth day Tang Wu was found hanged.

  • The Black Furies forced the rats to work in the cotton fields, beat them for slowing down, and fed them rancid swill.
  • Tang Lie gathered the rats and blamed Tang Zhen and Tang Xiao for the Clear Sky Sect’s troubles, then led the others in beating them.
