"Failed? Someone else drank it?" Shen Keke was furious, but there was nothing he could do except give the man the money and tell him to leave A City immediately.

Though he had intended to give him the money anyway. After all, if anything happened to Shen Can, the Shen Household would definitely investigate, and he could not let them trace it back to him through someone else.

So he would definitely pay the man to flee. But since it had not succeeded, he was far less pleased about paying him.

From the description, he knew who had drunk it. It was probably Su Nanxing.

Was Su Nanxing sick or something? Why would he help Shen Can drink when there was nothing wrong? Now that he had been drugged, he deserved it.

Huo Xi carried Shen Can into the car. Only after fastening Shen Can's seat belt did he tell the driver to leave.

Shen Can spent a long while calming himself down. He had asked to be carried—how was he supposed to know Huo Xi would actually carry him? And he had not refused himself, so it was not his fault. Yes, that was right.

Of course, despite saying that, he still picked up his phone and told Huo Xi that he had troubled him last night, then sent a cat thank-you sticker.

"No need. I'll investigate it myself." What did he have to do with Shen Chi? Why would Shen Chi investigate it for him?

Everything had been normal last night, aside from him helping Shen Can drink. His discomfort seemed to have started after that first drink. Someone had probably wanted to do something to Shen Can, and he had been caught in it instead.

After thinking it through, Su Nanxing arranged for people to check the surveillance footage. If the Su Household wanted to review it, that club could not refuse.
