Behind him, the hole in the barrier of light began healing at a speed visible to the naked eye. Moments later, it had returned to normal, as if it had never been damaged.

Lin Ming was now truly standing in the universe.

Dark, cold, and profound.

All around him stretched boundless darkness, along with countless stars embedded in the black velvet like diamonds. Without the atmosphere obstructing them, the stars seemed exceptionally bright and clear.

He could even see the distant rotating river of stars, like a massive vortex radiating mysterious and enchanting light.

Lin Ming floated in the vacuum, feeling an unprecedented sense of freedom and insignificance. He felt like a speck of dust drifting through the vast, boundless universe.

Rather than making him feel inferior, that sense of insignificance stirred an even stronger desire within him to explore and conquer.

"So this is the Star Sea..." Lin Ming murmured, excitement glinting in his eyes.

However, before he could properly admire this magnificent Star Sea, a sight in the distance caught his attention.

In a nearby starfield, several creatures so enormous they were suffocating to behold were slowly moving.

Those creatures were comparable in size to small planets! Their bodies were milky white and plump, and they even looked somewhat adorable.

They had short, unicorn-like horns and a single enormous eye that covered half their faces. Their huge eyes blinked, revealing a simple-minded yet greedy gleam.

They surrounded a dim, lifeless planet, opening giant mouths that took up most of their bodies and taking bite after bite out of it!

With every bite, vast swathes of rock and soil were swallowed into their bellies, producing thunderous crunching sounds that sent strange vibrations through the vacuum.
