"That's true."
Lu Ze sighed helplessly. "The law doesn't even allow people under eighteen to own their own Pokémon, yet she became a Pokémon Gym Leader when she was only a few years old?"
"Yeah, so what's the problem?"
Sui Yan smiled. "You don't really think nobody noticed that, do you?"
"Huh?"
Lu Ze froze for a moment before Tang Yunqin explained.
"Although she appeared as a Pokémon Gym Leader, the Pokémon she used weren't her own."
Tang Yunqin spread her hands with a smile. "The law doesn't prohibit people under eighteen from participating in Pokémon Battles. After all, a large portion of Pokémon Battle players are under eighteen."
"Alright, I get it."
Lu Ze nodded. He truly understood why nobody had interfered.
Just as Tang Yunqin had said, the Pokémon Wang Lingran used in battle did not belong to her.
More importantly, Wang Lingran could command those Pokémon. That was the biggest issue.
What other child could command someone else's Pokémon?
Even their parents' Pokémon would not obey them without an adult's permission.
In fact, even with an adult's consent, Pokémon would not obey a child's command to attack a human.
That was where the issue lay.
"Get ready. Our battles are about to begin."
As Sui Yan spoke, he patted Lu Ze on the shoulder and headed toward the waiting area.
"Hurry up and finish. Maybe we'll still get to see Gym Leader Wang Lingran when we go back."
The two of them arrived at the waiting area together.
The place was still quite spacious, able to accommodate many Trainers battling at once.
That was why their battles were practically taking place at the same time.
After arriving in the waiting area, they saw who their opponents were.
Both were from South Korea, and they looked like twins.
