After seeing them off, Xia Yan brought his Pokémon back to Ula'ula Island, to the canyon where Tapu Bulu resided.

Tapu Bulu was not there.

Fortunately, Xia Yan simply claimed the place for himself and made it his temporary training ground.

With Bagon and Goomy joining the team, the proper introductions still had to be made.

As Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon, they had relatively long growth periods, and before evolving, the advantages of Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon were not especially pronounced.
