With a twist of both hands, two clangs rang out as the two Ink Shadow Swords were sheathed on his back. He loosened his aching body and swept his gaze around. Though no extra pressure burst forth from him, no one around dared whisper. All remained silent as cicadas in winter, gazing at the victorious Mu Chen with reverence.
Turning to look at the courtyard that had been destroyed beyond recognition, Mu Chen shook his head helplessly. He had spent gold coins to buy this place, but in its current state, it was clearly uninhabitable.
