"Gaara, what are you doing?"
Kankurō asked with an ugly expression. It was too embarrassing, making it seem as though they were afraid of Sasuke.
"Did you notice anything?"
Gaara looked around but found nothing unusual. He frowned in confusion and asked.
"Nothing." Temari shook her head, looking somewhat bewildered.
"Nothing?" Gaara frowned and scanned the surroundings again.
Just now, Shukaku had suddenly radiated an intense feeling of fear, as if some terrifying existence had set its sights on him.
That fear had frightened Shukaku and even affected Gaara. Thinking they had encountered a powerful enemy, he had instantly leaped onto a tree branch.
But now, it seemed there was no enemy at all. Even Shukaku had gone quiet.
Unable to find a reason, Gaara could only suspect that something was wrong with Shukaku. Otherwise, why would he suddenly act like this?
With those doubts in mind, Gaara jumped down from the branch and headed into the distance. He no longer had any desire to fight and wanted to figure out what was wrong with Shukaku as soon as possible.
"Gaara, what's wrong?" Temari hurried after him, watching him in confusion.
As a terrifying presence within their village, Gaara's sudden behavior made Temari feel that something was off.
"Follow me."
Gaara said nothing more and hurried away, only stopping once he reached an empty training ground.
"Gaara, what exactly happened?" Kankurō asked as well.
"Just now, Shukaku suddenly felt fear, as if a powerful existence had targeted him. But I didn't see any enemy."
Gaara recounted it bit by bit, his eyes still vigilantly scanning the surroundings.
"Fear? A terrifying existence? I didn't feel anything just now." Kankurō frowned.
"Me neither." Temari nodded as well.
"It's strange. I didn't feel anything either, but Shukaku really did send back feelings of
