Only Sasuke and the others remained, sitting there in a daze.

Their bodies still trembled slightly from the killing intent earlier. It took them quite a while to recover.

But Sasuke was still immersed in Orochimaru's words. He refused to believe that Naruto was so much stronger than him.

"Sakura, that person was lying to me just now, right?" Sasuke turned to Sakura, hoping to hear her comfort him.

"Um..."

Sakura was not sure, but she liked Sasuke and naturally wanted to support him. "He was probably lying. Naruto used to be the dead last, after all."

"Right, right, right! I'm the top student. Even if Naruto's strength improved, it couldn't have improved that much. He must have been lying, he must have been lying."

Sasuke hurriedly spoke, unwilling to believe Orochimaru's words no matter what. He even made excuses to comfort himself.

"No, what that person said was true. Naruto is strong, incredibly strong... strong enough to be terrifying."

Karin suddenly spoke up. Her voice was not loud, but it was exceptionally firm.

"Why? You only just met us. How could you possibly know so much?" Sasuke questioned her, immediately pointing out the crucial issue.

How could a weak female ninja from another village, someone who had only just met them, possibly know Naruto's strength?

Sasuke had spent so long with Naruto. Although he had seen Naruto defeat Dosu before, and knew Naruto was somewhat stronger than him, Naruto could not possibly be this strong, could he?

That was one of the reasons Sasuke questioned her.

"Because I'm a sensory ninja, and a special kind of sensory ninja. Forget you—even every examinee here together would be unable to defeat Naruto," Karin said seriously.

"Every examinee? I don't believe it. Do you know there's someone named Gaara among the examinees?
