The Daimyo nodded and immediately gave a few instructions to the guards and advisers beside him.
Once they had sent everyone else away, he stood up too and walked over to Xunjing. "Everything's arranged on my end. We're ready to leave."
His face was full of excitement as he spoke.
Clearly, he was eager to experience this novel form of spatial transportation for himself.
By now, the other dignitaries and wealthy merchants had also stood up as instructed. Their eyes held curiosity and nerves, while quite a few stared at Xunjing with outright skepticism.
"All right, let's go."
Xunjing nodded at that and formed a hand seal.

In an instant, all the runes of the Teleportation Array beneath their feet lit up.
With a swish, Xunjing and the hundred-odd people vanished straight out of the Conference Room.
The next instant, the group appeared in the open Square in front of the Hokage Building.
