Dizziness washed over Xun Uchiha like a tide. He felt the world turn upside down, and his consciousness sank into deathly silence.
"Reverse time!"
He roared into the chaos, driving the skill with a frenzy of mental power. The darkness before him abruptly shattered. Light and shadow flowed backward, as though an invisible hand had forcibly rewound reality.
When he opened his eyes again, he was back on the seabed at the edge of the whirlpool.
Before he could breathe a sigh of relief, that familiar, sickening spiral of water appeared out of nowhere once more. Xun Uchiha's heart lurched. He turned to flee, but fate was an iron law that looped back upon itself. No matter how he struggled, he could not escape being swallowed.
The Electric Eel swam over tirelessly once again and coiled around Xun Uchiha, attempting one final struggle. A moment later, both were swallowed by the black hole.
The world spun, and darkness descended.
This time, the seawater was no longer merely murky. It formed an enormous spiral tunnel, deep and seemingly endless, winding toward the unknown reaches of the deep sea.
Perhaps centuries passed. Perhaps only a moment.

The sight before him made his pupils contract. This was no ordinary stretch of desolate seabed, but an enormous graveyard. Countless shipwrecks were piled atop one another like carelessly discarded toys. Between these steel remains lay thick layers of gold, jewels, jade, and ceramics. Gold and gemstones gleamed against one another, yet the place exuded a deathly desolation and decay.
"How long was I unconscious?"
