The Panicked Third Hokage, Ato Obtains the Summoning Beast Enma!

High above Konoha, the Third Hokage stood atop the Ruyi Jingu Bang and watched Ato throw Energy Blasts in three different directions. His expression changed drastically.

"Quick, Enma, get me down there."

The Third Hokage gave the order to his Summoning Beast, Enma, somewhat frantically.

"Hold on tight, Sarutobi," Enma warned before rapidly retracting.

Boom!

A sonic boom rang out. Chakra clung tightly to the Third Hokage's feet, keeping him from being flung away from the Ruyi Staff.

In mere moments, the Third Hokage had reached the ground.

"Lord Third Hokage, what happened?"

Seeing the panic on the Third Hokage's face, Minato Namikaze quickly asked.

"Minato, immediately notify Jiraiya at the Cloud Hidden Battlefield, Nara Shikaku at the Stone Shinobi Battlefield, and Uchiha Nohuo at the Mist Hidden Battlefield. Have them withdraw at once." The Third Hokage had no time to explain and directly issued Minato Namikaze an order.

"Yes, Lord Third Hokage."

Minato Namikaze recognized the severity of the situation. He bit his index finger and summoned a toad from Mount Myoboku.

"Lord Minato, what are your orders?" the toad asked Minato Namikaze respectfully.

"Notify Master Jiraiya to retreat immediately." Minato Namikaze spoke briefly, then sent the toad back to Mount Myoboku.

"Shadow Clone Technique." After using the Summoning Jutsu, Minato Namikaze immediately used the Shadow Clone Technique.

Amid a cloud of white smoke, two shadow clones appeared beside Minato Namikaze.

"Flying Thunder God Technique." ×2.

The two shadow clones used the Flying Thunder God to head for the Stone Shinobi and Mist Hidden Battlefields.

"I hope they make it in time!" The Third Hokage looked up at Ato in the sky and sighed.

All he could do now was hope that Ato's three Energy Blasts flew slowly enough for more Konoha Shinobi to withdraw from the battlefields.

"Perhaps the Third Shinobi World War, which has only lasted a year, will finally come to an end."

Whoosh.

As the Third Hokage sighed inwardly, a streak of light shot down from above and appeared before him.

"Ato, I will comply with your order and immediately convene the Five Kage Summit."

The Third Hokage looked at Ato with a complicated expression, then lowered his proud head. As though meeting a daimyo, he spoke to Ato respectfully.

"Three days. I'm only giving you three days.

"Ato, I will definitely convene the Five Kage Summit within three days." The Third Hokage frowned slightly before gritting his teeth and agreeing.

He knew very well that neither he nor Konoha Village had any room to bargain with Ato.

"I'm tired. Prepare a place for me to stay.

"Oh, right. Minato's house will do nicely." Ato gave the Third Hokage a satisfied look, then yawned.

Just as Minato Namikaze was about to take Ato to his home, Ato stopped him.

"Wait." Ato spoke to Minato Namikaze, then floated over to Enma, the Summoning Beast, and said bluntly, "Hiruzen Sarutobi, I'm very interested in your Enma. Hand over the Enma Clan's summoning scroll."

"What?" The Third Hokage's expression shifted repeatedly, but in the end, he did not dare refuse Ato's request.

"Ato, you only need to sign your name on this summoning scroll to summon the Enma Clan's Enma."

Ato glanced at the summoning scroll, then curled a finger. The scroll immediately unfurled completely.

Ato looked at the densely packed names on it and frowned slightly.

"Cancel every summoning contract of the Sarutobi Clan," Ato said in a tone that allowed no refusal.

"Sarutobi!!!" Enma panicked.

He and the Third Hokage had been partners for many years.

They could be said to understand one another perfectly.

Yet now, the Third Hokage was not only allowing Ato to form a summoning contract with the Enma Clan, but was even preparing to cancel every contract with the Sarutobi Clan. How could Enma not be enraged?

"Enma, cancel the contracts!" The Third Hokage sighed and gave Enma the order.

Helpless, Enma could only dissolve the summoning contracts.

"Summoning Contract: Release."

Poof.

As Enma and the Third Hokage formed hand seals at the same time, the densely packed names on the summoning scroll instantly vanished.

Ato nodded in satisfaction, then signed his name on it.

Once Ato formed the summoning contract, the summoning scroll immediately returned to the Summoning Realm where the Enma Clan resided.

At the same time, Ato felt his mind form a close connection with the Enma Clan.

All he needed to do was bite his finger and he could summon an Enma of the Enma Clan.

With a casual swing, the Ruyi Staff carried a terrifying sonic boom as it smashed into the asphalt road of a Konoha street.

A fissure split open across the ground, and the Ruyi Staff in Ato's hand instantly turned back into a monkey.

"My head is spinning!" The monkey named Xiao Ji was left dizzy by the rebound from the ground.

Ato ignored Xiao Ji and continued summoning with great enthusiasm.

A three-meter-tall ape was summoned. It was a gibbon, its arms thick with knotted muscle and resembling massive hammers.

This ape was named Da Wu.

The next second, Ato appeared in a warm and cozy living room.

Kushina, who had been watching television in the living room, jumped in fright at the sudden appearance of Minato Namikaze and Ato.

"Wow, what a cute little boy! It would be wonderful if I had a son like this."

"Wait, why does this kid have a tail...?"

Kushina boldly walked over to Ato and reached out to ruffle his spiky black hair. Only then did she notice the tail behind him.

Kushina's eyes widened as she looked at Minato Namikaze, then at Ato again.
