The Mental Clone gathered power as well and fired an Energy Wave.
An identical golden pillar of light came crashing down.

The two pillars collided violently, and the entire mental space began to tremble under the tremendous energy impact.
It was as though a golden sun had risen within the mental space.
"Hah!" Ato planted his feet firmly and let out a furious roar. The golden pillar in his hands instantly doubled in size.
Boom!
The evenly matched beams that had been locked in midair were suddenly shattered as Ato's beam crushed the Mental Clone's Energy Wave, then engulfed the Mental Clone completely.
Rumble!
With a thunderous explosion, the Mental Clone was blasted into dust beneath Ato's golden beam.
Kamehameha!
What Ato had just used was the Kamehameha wielded by Earth's Z Fighters.
After taking out the Mental Clone in the air, Ato raised his right hand.
