"The hearing's been postponed until Friday..."
Tatsuya Sakuya told Airi Sakura everything that had happened that day.
When Airi heard what had really happened, she froze, looking stunned.
"P-postponed until Friday...?"
She sniffled and asked in a trembling voice:
"Sudo... wasn't expelled today?"
"No."
Tatsuya pulled over a chair and sat down.
"The Student Council came by after school to tell us. The president had something come up today. So you don't need to think this is your fault. Sudo's still at school, safe and sound."

Airi sniffled and sobbed quietly.
Tatsuya handed her a few tissues and shook his head helplessly.

Airi took the tissues and wiped her cheeks haphazardly. Then her gaze returned to the battered camera on the table, and her eyes dimmed again.
"But... Sakuya..."
She sniffled and pointed at the camera, looking lost.
"Even if it's been postponed until Friday... the camera's still broken."
"After I dropped it this morning, it wouldn't turn on no matter how many times I pressed the button. The screen won't light up either... If we can't get the video off it, we still won't have any evidence on Friday."
Airi lowered her head and picked at the hem of her clothes.
And realistically, Class 1-D had no spare Private Points to repair something so expensive.
Tatsuya picked up the camera and examined it for a moment. Then something occurred to him, and he turned to her.
"You bought this camera at school back in April, right?"
