And there was Jinbe, too. Mu Chen had no idea how old Jinbe was at this point, but he knew Jinbe would become an important figure.
He would join Big Mom's pirate crew and help Charlotte find a Road Poneglyph in the city where the Sea Kings lived.
Before long, Mu Chen arrived at the entrance to Fool's Street. He had barely gotten a look inside Fish-Man District when several Fish-Men blocked his path.
"Human, this isn't a place you should be."
One of the Fish-Men barred Mu Chen's way with a weapon. The more Mu Chen looked at him, the more familiar he seemed.
The Fish-Man before him was Arlong in his younger days. Mu Chen knew him, of course. He was a minor boss on Luffy's journey.
"Huh?"
"You know me?"
Arlong looked baffled that Mu Chen knew his name. He was only a small fry in the Sun Pirates. How could a human know him? Mu Chen had let the name slip without thinking, but he had no intention of dwelling on it.
"I'm Mu Chen. I'm here to see Fisher Tiger, captain of the Sun Pirates."
Mu Chen gave his name outright. The moment Arlong heard it, he realized the visitor was a Marine—and not just any Marine, but Mu Chen. "Blood Eyes... Mu Chen!"
Arlong suddenly looked a little uneasy. He even trembled despite himself. He knew Blood Eyes Mu Chen's reputation, and they were pirates!
And now Mu Chen had come looking for their boss. Did that mean he was here to arrest him?
Arlong swallowed nervously.
Then, the very next second, he shouted, "A Marine! There's a Marine! Everybody, get over here!"
His voice rang throughout Fish-Man District.
Seeing Arlong act as though an enemy army had arrived, Mu Chen felt rather helpless.
