Time passed quickly. In the blink of an eye, two months had gone by. "Dragon, how are your preparations going?"
"Traveling takes time too. My side is more or less ready."
"Good. We'll meet at Fish-Man Island in two months."
Just as Mu Chen was about to hang up the Den Den Mushi, Luffy suddenly popped out from who knew where. "Red Eye, why are you talking to yourself? Are you sick?"
Luffy had no idea Den Den Mushi even existed, and he had called him sick on top of that. Mu Chen could only feel helpless after being addressed that way.
Dragon heard Luffy's voice and teased Red Eye. "Hahahaha, Mu Chen, how did you end up with a nickname like that? Where did you find a kid like this?"
Faced with Dragon's mockery, Mu Chen merely gave a dry laugh and said something. The moment he finished, Dragon immediately stopped laughing. Mu Chen could practically hear Dragon going blank.
"Yeah, the kid who calls me that is named Monkey D. Luffy."
"Oh, right. The little guy is three now. I've trained him for three months."
"Alright, I'm done talking."
Just as Mu Chen was about to hang up, birdsong suddenly came from the other end.
"Mu Chen, you bastard, your damn phone—!"
Dragon's furious roar continued, but Mu Chen had already tucked the Den Den Mushi into his pocket.
Luffy tilted his head and leaned in close, his nose almost pressing against Mu Chen's cloak. His clear eyes were filled with curiosity and fearlessness.
"Brat, do you know who you're talking to?"
Mu Chen deliberately put on a stern face and flicked Luffy's forehead, but unconsciously eased his strength when he touched that soft skin.
Luffy covered his forehead and jumped back, sticking out his tongue.
As he
