Good thing that bastard managed to blow himself up. Otherwise... Mu Chen dispelled his Raiden Armor, brushed nonexistent dust off his beach shorts, and glanced at the children huddled in the corner.
Mu Chen had originally wanted to recover Somazisheng's Thorn-Thorn Fruit, but then he remembered that Somazisheng belonged to God's Knights. The organization was shrouded in mystery and seemingly connected to Imu, so Mu Chen had decided against it.
Meanwhile, deep within the mysterious Pangaea Castle in the Holy Land Mary Geoise, Imu sat quietly upon the enormous Empty Throne.
The instant Somazisheng died, Imu's perpetually lowered third eye snapped open, a sharp gleam flashing through its dark red pupil.
He slowly raised his hand, and a phantom image of thorns suddenly appeared in the air, interspersed with scenes of rampaging lightning. It showed the final moments of Saint Somaz's life: a blue-white lightning dragon wreaked havoc as Saint Somaz struggled in agony amid the thunderbolts, while the masked Mu Chen stood at the center of the storm, lightning blazing around him.
Imu's gaze fixed firmly on that mask, which commanded his full attention.
"The long-lost Rumble-Rumble Fruit?"
Imu's voice was low and hoarse, as though it came from the depths of the underworld, echoing through the empty chamber.
He raised his hand slightly, and the phantom image dissolved into countless motes of light that vanished into the darkness.
Then Imu snapped his fingers softly, and a black shadow appeared before him like a ghost.
It was a mysterious man in a black robe, his face completely shrouded in shadow.
He knelt on one knee and respectfully awaited Imu's command.
"Go summon the Five Elders."
Imu spoke indifferently, without a trace of emotion in his voice.
The man in black gave a slight nod, then vanished into the darkness
