"I heard you talking when you came in. What, are you planning to head out to sea?"
Robin had been talking about it when she came in.
When Mu Chen asked her about it, Robin pouted and said somewhat helplessly, "I've collected quite a few Poneglyphs over the past few years, but none of them contain anything particularly important. There aren't any left nearby, either, so I thought I'd head out to sea and take a look."
Really, Robin felt she had too little to do. She was a workaholic, after all, and had searched every corner of Alabasta in her first year there.
Hearing this, Crocodile's expression darkened. "Just talking about Poneglyphs makes me angry. I've collected five now, but not one of them is a Road Poneglyph pointing to Laugh Tale."
Mu Chen almost laughed. There were so many Poneglyphs, but only four Road Poneglyphs. It would have been strange if they were that easy to find.
"All right, we've had our drinks." Crocodile raised his glass, took a hefty gulp of red wine, and continued, "Tell me. What exactly did you come here for?"
Mu Chen glanced at Robin. Seeing that she had no intention of leaving them alone, he said, "I came to discuss something with you. A pirate named Luffy will be coming to Alabasta soon. If he challenges you, I hope you'll go easy on him."
To keep Luffy from getting killed by accident, Mu Chen felt it was necessary to give Crocodile a heads-up.
Mu Chen had already spoken to Gekko Moria about it. "Luffy?"
"Who's that?"
Robin looked at Mu Chen in confusion, unable to understand why he would suddenly say something like that. Crocodile was a particularly coldhearted man. Asking him to go easy on someone was practically a joke.
