"Where's Fei Youliang? Why did he bail?"
"I remember he wasn't the biggest coward. Wasn't his partner the cowardly one?"
"Or maybe he just hadn't been the one getting scared before. The moment it was his turn, he folded instantly. What a wimp."
Zhang Ze walked out of the classroom and looked around, but he couldn't see where Fei Youliang had run off to. He was briefly puzzled, but then remembered this was Boss Chen's Haunted House and relaxed.
If it had been his own Haunted House and someone had gone missing, that would have been a serious problem.
His Haunted House was the Door-After World. If anything went wrong, it could cause a real safety incident.
To prevent accidents, Zhang Ze had arranged who knew how many Crows. Aside from the Crow's Nest, Crows were everywhere on the Midnight Police Station map as well, providing three-hundred-and-sixty-degree surveillance without blind spots.
Chen Ge's Haunted House could never have a safety incident.
If Fei Youliang had run off, then so be it.
Thinking this, Zhang Ze followed the corridor downstairs and headed toward the next scenario: the girls' dormitory.
Girls' Dormitory.
Before crossing over, Zhang Ze had been a model citizen. He had never entered a girls' dormitory or gone into a women's restroom. That kind of thing was just too creepy.
But since this was a Haunted House, Zhang Ze decided to satisfy a little of his curiosity.
Upon entering the girls' dormitory, Zhang Ze's first impression was the same chilling wind brushing against him. Perhaps the things here were stronger than those in the classroom and hadn't fled at the sight of Zhang Ze.
Even Zhang Ze felt a trace of coldness.
Though he couldn't pinpoint what was wrong, Zhang Ze knew by instinct that this room was haunted.
