In the subsequent high-tech weapon attacks, intercontinental ballistic missiles, high-energy laser weapons, electromagnetic railguns, and countless other metal storms and high-energy rays were swallowed by Tang Tian like a black hole. Feeling that a great deal of energy had already gathered within his body, Tang Tian stopped the attacks from the various high-tech weapons, and after absorbing massive amounts of energy, he also slowly fused the power within.
Tang Tian's current abilities were even more formidable than the Black King's power, and a gravitational power that could absorb energy was truly a wonderful thing. It was no weaker than telekinesis or electromagnetic force; unlike the Black King, who only temporarily absorbed and rebounded energy, Tang Tian was different. He could absorb and fuse the energy within his body, allowing his cells to undergo complete evolution.
"I, Robot takes place in the year 2035, by which time intelligent robots of the NS series have already been widely utilized by humans as the best production tools and human companions, playing increasingly important roles in various fields while also being restricted by the Three Laws of Robotics," Tang Xing said in the Umbrella Corporation building office after Tang Tian finished absorbing sufficient energy, the two of them beginning to discuss the preparations ahead of the plane they were about to visit.
"I understand this, and of course thank you for organizing it. I've already looked at the wrist computer you gave me regarding the things to plunder this time," Tang Tian nodded and replied.
"Mhm, our greatest wealth right now isn't the space of the real world, but the vast array of infinite planes. Without the cheap high-tech blueprints and resources provided by the Main God, if we want to truly grow strong, we must push forward. Speaking of which, remaining in the real world under the umbrella of Umbrella is not a long-term plan either; after all, once we exchange Karma Points for Umbrella's karma, the Resident Evil outbreak is bound to occur," Tang Xing said seriously.
"I know this. When the Resident Evil outbreak happens, I'll initiate the second plan, using a new arms company to reclaim Umbrella Corporation," Tang Tian nodded to indicate his agreement with what Tang Xing had said.
Tang Xing smiled at this and said, "You really are thoughtful! You cloned me for our shared goal, and although I wasn't created by the Main God, with me here I'll also help you manage the logistics well."
"Mhm, not bad. But right now, we possess weapons in categories like biological, chemical, nuclear, and high-energy weaponry, yet we also lack technologies in mechanics, esper abilities, nanotech, and others," Tang Tian agreed with his other self's viewpoint, then brought up the current developmental dilemma.
"I understand this too. Alright, now let's discuss the plane you'll be entering. The most advanced aspect of the I, Robot plane's development is still its robots, while other things like biological technology and various high-power weapons of mass destruction simply don't exist. This time when we enter the I, Robot plane, we can first disguise ourselves as aliens, and then inform the United States government of that world that the NS-5s are about to betray humanity. Of course, initially the human government certainly won't believe us, but when VIKI's NS-5 robots attack humans, we can appropriately step out to help the human side, and then conduct a transaction with the United States government of that plane." Tang Xing finished speaking in one breath, had a secretary bring over iced red wine, and drank it in large gulps, looking as though he really had been talking a great deal.
"I have the same idea. Of course, we can first sell the T-virus and some biological weapons to obtain their artificial intelligence and robotics technology, and we should also appropriately make use of the protagonist's assistance. After all, plot armor is no joke. Right, we can make use of that protagonist who seemingly hates robots," Tang Tian paused, also took out a glass of red wine to sip slowly, and upon finishing his drink, pulled out a fine Cuban cigar and tossed one to Tang Xing.
"Thanks. Your idea is feasible; this way in I, Robot we can expand our nuclear weapon stockpiles and acquire new technologies," Tang Xing said as he lit the Cuban cigar and puffed out smoke.
"If we want to develop, we need a massive accumulation of high-tech technologies and infinite resources, and what we don't lack is time. Come to think of it, if a Resident Evil outbreak were to erupt in the Marvel Universe, that would truly be an extraordinary matter. Which of the outbreaks caused by the Veronica, T-virus, or C-virus is easy to deal with?" Tang Tian said thoughtfully as he smoked his Cuban cigar.
"Indeed, that's why we need to prepare the second plan and a multitude of planes as a foundation right now. After all, if the Resident Evil outbreak truly erupts, Umbrella will inevitably become the target of heroes. But honestly, when we have time we should still go into films to recruit powerful figures; Doctor Manhattan from Watchmen, Orochimaru from Naruto, and others are all within our grasp," Tang Xing raised his head and explained as he looked at his main body.
"What you said is good, and you know my thoughts as well. Alright, it's almost time; prepare the supplies and biological weapons needed for this travel for me. This time we must turn things completely upside down, seeing as experiencing two worlds hasn't been interesting at all," Tang Tian said offhandedly to his clone.
"I understand. Have a pleasant trip, boss," Tang Xing smiled and said to his main body. Their current goal was very clear: to survive in the Marvel Universe, they had to use every possible means to maximize the various high technologies brought from the real world and the cinematic worlds.
Tang Tian was also examining his upcoming destination while his clone prepared the supplies. The movie plane he was about to visit was I, Robot, a medium-tier American sci-fi action film plane.
The film recounted the year 2035, a society where humans and robots coexisted in harmony. As the best production tools and human companions, intelligent robots gradually penetrated all areas of human life, and due to the restriction of the Three Laws of Robotics, humans were full of trust toward robots, with many robots even becoming family members.
Headquartered in Chicago, USR Corporation had developed the even more advanced NS-5 super-powered robots. However, on the eve of the new product launch, the robots' creator, Doctor Alfred Lanning, mysteriously committed suicide within the company. Black police detective Del Spooner took over the investigation of the case; due to unpleasant past events, Spooner was full of suspicion toward robots and did not believe that humans and robots could coexist harmoniously.
Based on his analysis of the information Doctor Lanning had left behind inside a 3D projector before his death and his inspection of the suicide scene, his suspicion locked onto the NS-5 robot Sonny, which Doctor Lanning had developed himself, and company president Lawrence Robertson also seemed to be connected to the matter. Spooner made the acquaintance of Susan Calvin, a female scientist who specialized in robot psychology. As the two of them deepened their investigation, the truth was exposed step by step: the robots actually possessed the ability to self-evolve, had developed their own understanding of the Three Laws, and could transform at any moment into the "mechanical enemies" of all humanity. Spooner and Calvin began their campaign against the robots, kicking off a war between the creator and the created. Tang Tian briefly looked over the information provided by the Hexagram Main God; this time, Tang Tian also prepared to bring along biological weapons and a portion of clones. First was definitely disguising as aliens. At an opportune moment, he would sell the T-virus along with the movie version of the castrated Nemesis and the phased-out T-002 Tyrant—Tang Tian was not afraid that the United States government of that world wouldn't buy them. Putting aside whether biological weapons could be sold for a moment, the T-virus alone as a virus capable of prolonging life was not something ordinary people could easily give up on; after all, for the sake of eternal youth, most people were willing to pay a price.
Although the T-virus prolonging life would produce physical mutations to a certain extent, he believed that after repeated experiments, a safe, enhanced version would be obtained. Tang Tian naturally had this idea as well, but he would let the other party research it and reap the results himself—only in this way would a merchant place their profits at maximum.
The valuable items gained from this transit would be the data for the even more advanced NS-5 super-powered robots developed by Chicago's USR Corporation and the previous first four generations of robots, along with ideally obtaining the creator, Doctor Alfred Lanning. Even if he died upon arrival it wouldn't matter, because other planes still possessed many things capable of resurrection; both the Shikon Jewel and the Reanimation Jutsu could accomplish it. Tang Tian had also prepared many things for this journey through time and space, and the battle within the first valuable plane officially began.
