History

Qi-Blood Value first appeared as a transparent panel attribute for Lin Chen, who began at 66.004/300 while still at Realm 0. His system immediately confirmed that killing living creatures could increase it, beginning with stink bugs worth 0.001 point each. The initial gains were extraordinary compared with ordinary cultivation: roughly fourteen points from an hour of killing pests would otherwise require months of training and expensive Qi-Blood Pills. 2

Lin Chen quickly tested the system's limits by slaughtering mutant animals at RT-Mart. The experiment elevated his Qi-Blood Value to 351.02 in two days and made him an eighteen-year-old One-Star Martial Artist. 4 Thereafter, hunting Demon Beasts became his primary method of raising the statistic and advancing through the martial ranks. 8 12

The value remained central after Lin Chen became a Psychic. Kills made with Psychic Power could award Qi-Blood Value alongside Psychic Points and Merit Points, allowing one attack method to develop both cultivation paths. 125 Later, the Blood Shadow World's virtual warriors proved especially profitable for system rewards, although their virtual bodies could not be consumed through Taotie. 418

At the end of the Blood-and-Qi Martial Path, Lin Chen's Blood Qi manifested across the universe as a five-clawed golden dragon. The phenomenon caused the qi and blood of countless beings to surge and marked the successful extension of a path previously considered complete. 728 His resulting martial framework culminated in the Extreme Deity realm, founded on the Four Extremes, Inner Contemplation of the Sea of Bitterness, and Spiritual Terrace and Square Inch. 730

Mechanics

Acquisition Through Slaughter

The system awards Qi-Blood Value when Lin Chen kills qualifying targets. Recorded returns vary sharply by target type and strength.

• A stink bug, toad, or snake can award 0.001 point. 2
• Mutant livestock at RT-Mart awarded 0.01 point per kill. 4
• A Mutant Hound and a First-Level Demon Beast awarded 0.1 point each. 8 12
• Second-Level Monsters awarded 0.2 points each in one recorded hunt, while Second-Level plant-type Monsters awarded 2 points each. 22
• Fourth-Level Demon Beasts awarded 2 points each. 48
• Eighth-Level Demon Beasts awarded 10 points each. 97
• Killing Ninth-Level Monsters with Psychic Power awarded 15 Qi-Blood Value per target, alongside Psychic Points. 125
• The system also rewards kills of human Martial Artists and later enemies from other races, not solely beasts. 27 725

Growth Through Resources

Qi-Blood Value can also increase through methods other than direct system kill rewards.

• Eating roasted Demon Beast meat slowly raised Lin Chen's Qi-Blood Value and mental power, though it also greatly increased his appetite. 78
• A Blood Shadow Crystal contains 50,000 qi-blood; Lin Chen consumed two through Taotie for a 100,000-point increase. 425
• The True God-level Taotie technique absorbs an enemy's vital energy, blood, and other power to strengthen Lin Chen's body. 332
• Taotie can substantially increase the value by consuming physical remains, such as the severed hand that granted 400,000 points. 369
• Virtual Blood Shadow Warriors still provide system rewards when killed, but Taotie cannot extract anything from them because they have no physical bodies. 418

Realm Thresholds

The panel normally presents the statistic as a current value over a capacity threshold, such as 351.02/600 or 105000/150000. Reaching key thresholds drives martial-realm breakthroughs. 4 84

• At the World Lord Level, a minor martial-realm breakthrough requires 200,000 Qi-Blood Value. 418
• At the Immortal Level, the cost rises to 1,000,000 Qi-Blood Value per minor realm. 418
• By the Word-Spirit Eternal Overlord stage, advancement no longer relies on ordinary qi-blood alone; it requires essence blood condensed from powerful beings. 718
