Unknown Land

Lu Ren raised his head and looked toward the dimly perceived Ninth Heavens above. The place he sensed within that unseen realm was rushing toward the present world at high speed. Having reached the Celestial Immortal Realm, he could clearly feel it.

That Unknown Land was completely different from the foreign realms whose coordinates Lu Ren had continuously captured before, as indicated by the system. It was an extraordinarily special place, one that filled him with the urge to enter at any cost.

That was the place the Jade Emperor and Tathagata had long yearned for. Since the end of the mythological age, they had been making arrangements for this single fleeting chance of convergence.

And the Ascension Platform was meant to delay and magnify that fleeting chance of convergence as much as possible, allowing for greater room for error so that the path leading to the Unknown Land could be maintained with all their strength.
